Good luck finding the car keys. Could it be in his jacket or something? I suppose you checked the car?
atton, (((hugs))) for the sensitive ladybits:(
MV, glad you had the day off work. Pity you can't take the week off:(
As for baby aspirin, why not try it? I think you are supposed to take it until 12 weeks or something, not that I'm a doctor or anything.

Still no car keys, Toyota say its so expensive that we'd have to make an insurance claim for it but a locksmith has quoted £155 for a new key and £55 an hour labour. Not including VAT, naturally. Sooo I just have to hope and pray he has been so stupid as to lock the keys in the car cos we've honestly tipped the house upside down.
Luckily I'd booked tomorrow morning off to go with him to deposit his sample but I'll be at home looking sheepish and forking out money to a patronising locksmith.
It's been a stormy night in the Lowe household, I do hope the neighbours didn't hear. He's forgiven (not that he knows that) as a solution can be found (albeit a costly one) and I've thought of ways for him to make it up to me-ie giving up his Thursday night with friends this week to spend time with me and doing something romantic for me at the weekend. Lord knows what he'll come up with x x

Oh dear Teamlowe :o Men are so annoying. My ex lost some vauxhall keys on a night out. He said he was pickpocketed as he also came home with less money than he should have, but I really don't think he was - more likely !!!!!! and stupid. Worst thing was he didn't even go out in the car, he should have taken the house key off the others and left the car key at home! It cost me £180 I think to have a key cut and coded, which was very disappointing. Its not the reason he is my ex tho - there were many many more reasons than that :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope his SA appt goes well.

  • Can I join this thread? I haven't learnt all the proper acronyms yet. But I'll give it a go!... Me and hubby have been TTC since August 2012, so just a few months. It didn't happen this month and I am now on CD1 :(

I'm 26 and this is my first time of TTC!

Yeah I've gotta say this is probably the worst thing he's ever done, which is why he's forgiven, with the above caveats. One guy at work said I should make him sleep on the couch! I could never do that, manly cos he keeps me warm in the night :rotfl: x x

Welcome chloe, hope your stay is short and sweet for all the very best reasons!

TeamLowe, hope the keys turn up somewhere tonight / tomorrow morning and that the SA goes well  Hopefully he'll be feeling very repentent and will arrange something lovely and romantic for the two of you.

Hugs for those with panic attacks / CD1 and special hugs to Atton - hope everything settles down before the wedding.

Ahhh, you've got a goodun then if this is his worst crime. Its annoying but definately forgivable with the right amount of grovelling from him ;)

Welcome to the [STRIKE]madhouse [/STRIKE]boards Chloelouise. You'll soon be trotting out the acronyms all the time and get confused in RL (real life) and refer to things as positive opk's etc.

Did anyone watch xtra factor last night? Lucy Spraggan (love her btw) said she used to be in a band called the BFP's and I had to laugh :rotfl:

QQ im all good, im happy to be on now CD2, means i can start trying again :) thats the first ive seen those saliva things, but then i confess to knowing nothing about opks.

ok so its been a crazy few baby days. Friday at work - one of the managers who swore shed never have kids, didnt ever want them, comes in with her 12 week scan pic.
we go out for dinner to a bar/restaurant for my birthday and end up sitting a table down from a nursing mother with the cutest baby ever, and beside a table of 12 women and at least 3 of them were pregnant! i thought id be safe in a bar... apparently not! haha
felt a little down after the events of the last few weeks, but its only made me more determined :) onwards to bumpage!
