  • Morning all.

T2D, no I haven't made an appointment yet. OH wants us to wait a couple more months to see what happens.
I also had a call back from a specific mc clinic yesterday, so that is another option, but again OH wants us to hold off.
I am going to try taking low dose aspirin to see if that makes any difference.

lovecake - if no spotting by mon/tues I'll think about testing then. I don't usually test ('cos I don't like -ve results and I'm too tight to pay for many of them :rotfl:). My LP is pretty much spot on so I've never got to being late. Really hope you get a BFP on friday - I think the tooth antibiotics excuse would work fine. It's times like this I love not drinking at all, makes it a lot easier lol.

Thanks tea lover! I think I will test on Friday because I am so impatient :rotfl:and if I get a BFN I'll test again, like you said, on Mon/Tues if AF hasn't arrived. I think even if I get a negative on Friday I'll use the antibiotics excuse just in case because it is a bit early to test really.

Anyone had any experience with Superdrug tests? I've heard they are quite sensitive...
  • hello all! :)

thank you ladies, theres much i can do but stay optimistic, but i think there are much braver women on here than myself who have been through a lot more and still have a happy smile to answer any questions and welcome new TTCers with open arms, and have genuine excitement for each BFP as it comes along.

lovecake - the superdrug ones are certainly the most sensitive ones ive come across

I have to step away from google... spent the past hour convincing myself that the weird cramps I'm getting today are pg-related. Its far more likely they're down to the fact I ate a packet of biscuits in under half an hour :o:rotfl:.

Yey, PMA on the thread :j :j :j

    Trina
your positivity is wonderful, and it's very possible to acknowledge that without detracting from the lovely ladies who've been here longer and been through other issues... they're fabulous too! (Don't know where all this bounciness has come from but I like it :j :j :j)

    Tea Lover, hope it's a baby-baby, not a biscuit-baby :rotfl:

Fingers crossed for you on Friday Lovecake

Time2Deal, sorry for CD1 :grouphug: but it's good news that you're still so positive and making progress :o

Birdie  You're very brave, there's no way I'd be weighing in with other people! Congratulations on taking control though, and fingers crossed for the post-AF weight loss to be a bit easier  Had images of you trying to explain to colleagues :rotfl:

I really hope the aspirin works and the clinics aren't needed MV, best wishes and positive thoughts for the next bean being a sticky one :grouphug:

P.S. Atton, I agree about the Caneston internal cream...

Not only is it possible, and more common than ever, but many experts now say waiting until your 30s and 40s can be beneficial for yourself and LO. When your sticky bean comes along you will be a great Mummy who's lived her own life and is bringing a child into a loving and stable situation :grouphug:

MV - My work colleague had her second baby just one month before her 39th birthday. Her pregnancy went great, no problems at all, and she was working right up until about 2 weeks before she gave birth. So it is definitely possible! I know she was trying for quite a while because she said she was although she didn't say how long....

Stay positive! It will happen for you! :)
