Trina - good to see you doing so well, you are so upbeat you're an inspiration!

Teamlowe - my DH has done similar things but then told me I've lost whatever it is myself (most recently it was the sat nav). Also about 60% of his conversations with me start with him asking "where is the..." or "have you seen the...". Oh it drives me mad!

Hi Chloelouise, nice to have you here but hope your stay is short for all the right reasons :)

I'm at a course until Thursday and have spent the entire day stuffing my face with everything the conference centre have provided us to eat. That's everything from unlimited ice cream and Capri Sun all day to whatever you wanted from the room service menu (I had the most expensive thing on the menu, obviously, as work is paying for it - that'll be a sirloin steak thank you very much). By the time I leave here on Thursday I will have eaten so much that I will look pregnant, whether I actually am or not :rotfl:

AF is due tomorrow and yesterday I was convinced she was coming early, but the cramps have gone and there was no sign of her. I tested again this morning (CD13) and had another BFN. Funny thing is, for some reason I'm not convinced yet that I'm out this month. I know I'm being silly really but I keep having a weird pain under my hip bone, sort of a cross between cramp and a sharp pain, never had anything like it before. Not in the joint itself but almost where I feel ovulation pain. I keep wondering if it's something.

Sorry QQ, I don't mean to be symptom spotting, honestly! :D If AF doesn't appear tomorrow, there's nothing I can do about it till I get home anyway other than wait.

I second the hugs for Atton on this busy, stressful, exciting week. Hope you are feeling good, and busy and hectic as expected!

Welcome ChloeLouise, and hugs to all the CD1's.

AFM, I am annoyed tonight. Not sad and depressed as normal on CD1, but really annoyed at this random change in my cycle. Super short, odd bleeding, and then a period out of the blue. I thought I knew what was going on! It means that maybe the CD11 BD was the right time.. or something went wrong in my LP... or it could be nothing.

I think I will have to go back to OPK's this month to be sure when I ovulate. Something weird definately went on.

*grump* (who says this period has no symptoms!)

Still no car keys, Toyota say its so expensive that we'd have to make an insurance claim for it but a locksmith has quoted £155 for a new key and £55 an hour labour. Not including VAT, naturally.

They put some security chip in the keys nowadays don't they?
    Another money making scam:mad:
Luckily I'd booked tomorrow morning off to go with him to deposit his sample
    Good luck:)

He said he was pickpocketed as he also came home with less money than he should have, but I really don't think he was - more likely !!!!!! and stupid.

Can I join this thread? I haven't learnt all the proper acronyms yet. But I'll give it a go!... Me and hubby have been TTC since August 2012, so just a few months. It didn't happen this month and I am now on CD1 :(

I'm 26 and this is my first time of TTC!
    Welcome choloe:wave:
Hugs for CD1, but hope it's the last one this year:)

QQ im all good, im happy to be on now CD2, means i can start trying again :) thats the first ive seen those saliva things, but then i confess to knowing nothing about opks.
I've used OPKs, CBFM, charted temps and got scans etc, but never tried that saliva thingy.
    Perhaps I should get one:D
one of the managers who swore shed never have kids, didnt ever want them, comes in with her 12 week scan pic.

Perhaps you did ov around CD11?

I suppose another possibility was that it was a chemical? Very early one?

hullo chloelouise, no offence but hope you're not on the thread very long.

Not sure I like the idea of the saliva thing, half the fun is poas. Spitting on it, doesn't sound so fun. Gahhh I'm easily amused, you can tell I haven't used my cbfm for a few months.

Just waiting for the news of hubby's cousin's baby arriving, nothing as yet, but he was due yesterday, so any time really. Must make sure I get the tissues ready.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Don't encourage me! You know I am thinking that... plus it's a weird AF. Warning TMI - not blood, but like thick CM with lots of streaks through it. And not yet bright red, but very dark pink...

But painless, I presume a chemical would be painful.

Anyway, put me as CD1 - I will definitely definitely not be imagining a million scenarios... Who am I kidding!

lovecake - if no spotting by mon/tues I'll think about testing then. I don't usually test ('cos I don't like -ve results and I'm too tight to pay for many of them :rotfl:). My LP is pretty much spot on so I've never got to being late. Really hope you get a BFP on friday - I think the tooth antibiotics excuse would work fine. It's times like this I love not drinking at all, makes it a lot easier lol.
atton - best of luck for your wedding. Enjoy it!
vesper - hugs for family new arrivals.
QQ - hope work's ok. Big hugs xx.
    chloelouise - hello!
angeltreats - that course sounds great! I'm on a course the week after next. All week in a hotel (I'm staying there too)... can't wait to see what the food's like.... not so fussed about the actual course.
trina - sometimes it feels like there's no escape from all the babies and bumps :o.

Ok, who did QQ leave the wagging finger with? I'm 8DPO and starting to ss... I need a slap .

It's lovely how upbeat you are Trina, if I was in your shoes I don't think I'd manage to be so positive, well done! :T

Hope the key magically turns up TeamLowe! It'll appear as soon as you've forked out for the new one, things like that always happen to me! My OH isn't so much a loser of things, but he is always tidying my things away (no idea where to though, we must have a black hole!) then denies that he moved anything when I complain that something I left out on purpose is now missing! Feel like installing CCTV in the flat to find out what he does with everything! ;)

Course sounds good Angel! Hope you enjoy all the eating (and the learning I guess...). :)

We're in the middle of an office weightloss challenge and it's weigh-in day today. I'm suffering from mid-AF mega-bloat so my weight was bad! Can't really explain why to my male co-workers though so just have to look contrite and say I'll try harder next week! :o

    Welcome ChloeLouise!

    Morning all,

QQ - not sure if you are around, but when you get a chance could you make me CD1 today. First day of proper bleeding. sigh... but at least we are now moving forward on other options.

Birdie - I can't imagine ever standing on scales in front on my husband, let alone workmates! Very courageous.
Tea Lover - Hope you can hold out of the tests. I was quite keen for some reason to test this month as I wasn't too hopeful, and I'm a bit disappointed AF showed up early so not even a chance to POAS this month! It's sad the things I look forward to. :)

MV, did you make the appointment with LWC?

Atton - Good luck with the prep today! I am on a one woman 'keep Atton calm but excited' crusade this week. :)
p.s. I find Canesten Internal cream best for quick resolution of Thrush. It's a little hard to find sometimes, and odd to apply (via an applicator) but it's super quick as resolving the discomfort.
