Flipping Fertility Friend has decided to move my crosshairs and change me from ov on day 17 to ov on day 19! I hope it's wrong because we stopped bding after day 16 for various reasons. Thing is, I never really got a definitely positive opk but the most positive I got was on day 16, and the test line completely disappeared after that, plus really strong ov pain on day 17.

Thinking I am probably out for this month, the signs just aren't looking right at all.

To be honest, I don't seem to get any symptoms until the 6/7 week mark anyway so a BFP is the only indication I will have!

Angi - It's great that you have an understanding GP. They play an important role to begin with. I second what Claire said about buying a load of cheap OPK's and using them twice a day until you start to get some idea of your cycles. Could you temp? Would that help?

My cycles also changed a lot after my son was born. Before him, they were 25 days without fail and were really light. Since him (and my c-section) they have ranged between 27 and 35 days and I have ovulated between CD17 and CD23. I only know all that because of all the charting I've done. My last 2 sets of blood results have been abnormal though and my FS doesn't think I'm ovulating. I think the problem is c-section related but that's enough about me!

Your bloods being done on CD22 won't be an issue,especially as you say your cycles are 29 days

Hi Lilymay. I also had a caesarian due to cord compression, can this really affect things later down the line?

I have no idea when I conceived my son as he was an accident so first I knew about it was when my period was late and i did a test 'just to reassure myself I wasn't pregnant ' (famous last words), but he was always a little small for dates and when he was born (induced at 38 +2) he was absolutely tiny at 5.5 lbs and everyone said he looked like a prem, even though technially he was not. So I've always wondered if I conceived him late in my cycle and am therefore a late ovulator.

Although could that change ie can you be a late ovulator at one point but not later on, or would it be fairly consistent throughout your menstrual life.

So many questions! Never done this before! In retrospect it was so easy before as I missed all this stage out, once I'd got over the shock of realising I was up the duff four months into a new relationship:eek:. Luckily it's all worked out well though as we're now back for more!

How annoying angeltreats, maybe it's wrong? It sounds like you know your own body pretty well so fingers crossed fertility friend was just having a stupid moment.

Couldn't resist Poas this morning and go a bfn so never mind onwards and upwards at least it gives us more time to get the house sorted! Ff says I should expect af on Thursday so it'll be interesting to see how accurate that is! Have my fingers crossed for a slightly shorter cycle this time as well as my body starts settling down.

Purcy, Hugs for BFN. You are only 11dpo so it might be too early to show. Maybe test again in a few days if AF not shown up. I tested yesterday on 11dpo and got nothing too

Thanks squ1rrel5. Well done for updating the lists.

Ok some positives:

I ovd at cd15 and my lp was 14 days. 1 day over textbook. My skin was clearer and I didnt have days of spotting. This suggests my hormones are sorting themselves out a bit and a 29 day cycle is a lot better than a 38 day one.

I can drink nice wine at Sunday dinner and can eat that round of brie in the fridge.

Sigh. I was hoping this would be it. I'd thought about announcing it to the parents with grandparent christmas cards and a scan pic. Obviously that wont happen now.

And of course my facebook page is full of photos of cute kids and babies.

What's the point of wishing on a bleedin Christmas star if its not even listening?
