Tinks, if you are here, we are all thinking about you and hoping for the best for you. Big big hugs xxxxxxx

^ what she said. Replied on the other thread but hope you are alright and have someone with you to hold your hand.
  • Morning all.

we're off to Bristol today as it is my nephews 1st birthday.

Trouble is my sister and her hubs live in a teeny house which is bursting at the seams already with them and their 2 little 'un's, so throw us and DS into the mix for the night and you've got a real squeeze!

Still it'll be nice to see them, and will (hopefully) take my mind off me heading into the final days of this 2ww.

10 dpo today and had my faint BFP last month. Tomorrow it'll be the same time as last month when I got my BFP on the digi.

I'm not doing that this time as if I am lucky enough to get a BFP, I'll only be scared of another chemical, so am just going to wait it out till Thursday when I'll be late 1 day for AF.

Hope everyone else has a good weekend.

    Thinking of Tinks today xx

Hugs MV, its awful when your mind cant top pllaying the 'this time last month' game, hope Thursday brings good news x x

Abis that is indeed a very yellow car! Just be warned though, you might see more violence driving round in that is when I as a kid you could punch your mate if you saw a yellow car first. Have image of you posting a thread in three months time saying 'what is wrong with kids today? They're so violent they even attack their friends' lol

BFN for me ladies but its what I expected and I don't feel too bad, I feel quite umm...patient now. I've got it in my head that we wil be going back to the gynae in March so I'm just relaxing til then. Also, I realised that the metformin ice been taken is from sainsburys and I think theirs gave me a very long cycle before as we'll. I realise that sounds mental, but I'm back on a brand I trust and I'm going to take the noristhisterone starting today and last time that gave me 'normal' cycle after.
Oh and also going to sound mental but I've been really feeling pressure because of how long it's been since my first miscarriage and because I was told that first pregnancies are miscarried quite frequently cos your body doesn't know what it's doing but second is ok, I'vebeen very anxious that my body will 'forget' again and the next will be like a first pregnancy again. But then I realised something important- my 2 cousins and my sister on my dads side (who I take after with these things) miscarried their first babies and second (and third) pregnancies were fine AND due to their circumstances there was years inbetween too. And 1 cousin needed treatment so i feel less like freak. So hopefully family history means my body is just waiting for the perfect egg and perfect sperm and then boom, superbaby :)

So hope Tinks is ok x x

Off to a naming ceremony which should be lovely and interesting cos I've never been to one before x x

Been reading about poor tinks. Brings back some awful memories. Thinking of you tinks if you're reading xx

Am 5 dpo and cramping. Remember this from a few cycles before my mc don't know what causes it:(

Anyway sticky dust to all x
  • Sorry you got a BFN Team, but glad that you are feeling relaxed. I think it's the best attitude to have otherwise you just end up driving yourself crazy and the stress doesn't help anyone.

I am really going to have to manage my disappointment this month as if I turn into crazy neurotic woman, I think OH is going to find it incredibly difficult and we will only be setting ourselves up for another stressy month of ttc.

Teamlowe - sorry for the BFN :( But glad you're ok about it.

Squ1rrel - thanks for updating, you're braver than me! I'm actually 4DPO :o sorry should have said.

Had a good old natter last night with a friend who is also TTC, although she's been trying for about 3 years and we're only on our second month. She isn't charting or anything, just kind of hoping, I was thinking of buying her a copy of "Taking Charge of your Fertility" but not sure how it would go down, what do you ladies think?

Off to take the cats to the vet now, I expect to come back bruised and bloody and traumatised in an hour or so...

Hope you all have a lovely Saturday :D

Angeltreats, I think it would depend on the friend? If you said you had read it and found it really helpful then i can't see many people being offended by it. Especially as you have been openly chatting about TTC with her. Is it worth a read?
