Trying for a Baby Part 8

codemonkey - massive ((hugs)) sorry you had such a difficult time with your family yesterday. People can be so insensitive
tealover - for what it's worth, and I know it is much easier said than done... I wouldn't worry too much about taking time off from a new job for appointments and maternity leave. If you can take that worry out of the equation it might be an easier decision? Any good employer will let you have the time off and as for maternity leave, well, it's not like you've suddenly decided you want to have a baby and get a new job all at the same time. I'm sorry your current employers are being so horrendous about itAre there jobs out there you could apply for which interest you? Push some doors and see if they open? Anyway, huge ((hugs)) and I'm sorry I can't give more helpful advice!

*hugs* for BFN code. Bah parents, yes they do seem to forget at times.
My mum has been great and have been chatting more about stuff we didn't know about each other since I opened up about ttc. She was so upset when I told her 2 months ago I had a mc more thatn 10 years ago and that she didn't know. She had her own problems at the time when my dad left. Took her 2 years to have me and then went on to have 2 more.
Others have been different. I expect a call today from my Dad telling me am on the shelf now e.tc. He would wet himself the day I tell him I am preg LOL.
Code you show them girl when that BFN turns to BFP in time0 -
Oh dear, sounds like a few of us are struggling at the moment. Big hugs to anyone who needs them, now I need to stop procrastinating and get back to my revision - 1 week til the exam! :eek:0

I cared about my last job alot and the people I worked with. Used up my life doing it. Have I heard from them? NO!!!!, have 2 people who I have known long term from work and in touch now and again. 7!!! Managers have left in less than a year, goes to show. Running theme is "I want my life back". Know your job is different from me tho Code. As MrsJ said knock and open some doors. Put a toe in the water and see what's about.0

BTW, where's my OPK+ still waiting *taps foots*. Am going to break OH at this rate LOL.
Good vibes to all0 -
So sorry Code, no wonder you were upset. It's not on that your OH just let you take all that without making comment either.
Why are some parents so blind to the obvious and !!!!!!?!
I remember a joke that goes : My old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and and cackling 'You're next!'After a while I figured out how to stop them. I started doing the same to them at funerals! :rotfl: Maybe we should think about making tick-tock noises right back at our older relatives and see how they like it! :rotfl:
Tea/Coffee, it sounds like you've a difficult decision to make and only you can decide what's best for you. I'd probably start looking for a new job, a good employer will allow time for appointments and honestly I believe that the less stressed you are the better your chances of the treatment working!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Thanks ladies. Knew you'd understand. Its great that I can express it here because honestly I am close to tears even now.
I need some advice though. We've got a family party going on Friday by which time I'll be 13 - 14 dpo and probably raging pmsy and of course sad because of the stupid bfn I'll have seen when I test to see if I can drink. My family collectively have no filter between brain and mouth and I will be hassled about babies by at least 7 people. Any snappy comebacks?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Hi everyone. I am having a really miserable day, think post holiday blues are really not helped by a wet and miserable first day back at work
Sorry to read about the problems some of you are having at work. Just a shame we all have to work - why cant life just be a holiday all the time.
Could someone please explain to me (being a bit thick) what stages of CM/EWCM you can expect throughout your cycle.
Last week I had EWCM on the Tuesday and on the Friday it was then a thick creamy sticky type. Today its really watery. I think I must have OV last week (but cant be sure as my cycles can range from 33-56 days). So if I did OV last week I would be 7 DPO is that right?
I know someone will have the answer as you are all pretty much experts as the whole TTC thingx xx
