Heylo everyone, will catch up on posts shortly. Hope everyone's not too depressed about another Monday... hopefully just another day closer to our dreams (whether they're baby related or otherwise). Planning on having a coffee and reading what others have been up to so I'm sure I'll be back soon to comment.

Urgh - Monday again!! Why do weekends go so fast?!!

Well I think I've ovulated early this morning as temp has risen and had some twinges as I went to bed. So would that make me 0dpo today?

    Good morning ladies,
I'm laughing at the SAHM/lady of leisure chat-I work full time, (mostly worked part time when the teenager was wee, was back FT when he was tiny though as that's just how it was-18 wks maternity:eek:)
I now work FT, look after my mum who has cancer, help care for my gran who is 101, study with the OU, run the house and manage the teenager-mrh will still come in from work (backshifts) and look confused if his dinner isn't ready or the house is a mess. I have no idea what he thinks I do between finishing work and him getting home!

    Hope everyone is well x

    morning cupcakes,

I feel :(:(:( today. Really thought I'd ov'd on sat but temp is low again today so looks like I didn't. OH is away from thurs to sun so pretty much guaranteed to ov then. BD feels like a massive chore at the moment and neither of us want to.

Already feel sick with nerves about meeting my boss tomorrow. I really want to leave, and they want me to leave, but I have to try and convince them to let me keep a job I hate just on the off-chance that I'll need maternity leave at some point. Obv. I don't mention that part to them! Think the only way I'll be staying is if I agree to work in wolverhampton - which will be about 4hrs commuting a day. Boss has been here just over a month, spoken to me once, and decided that I'm stupid and that everything I do is wrong. Just do not have the strength for this. Sorry this is such a monumentally whingy post - am just so close to walking out, getting myself signed off and taking to my bed till christmas. _pale_

All caught up (even though I should be revising or doing housework :o - must stop procrastinating lol). I'm loving the SAHM / housewife debate ladies, made me :rotfl: I think it's down to personal preference, not sure which I'd want to go for - but it's pretty unlikely that will be an option anyway as DH earns even less than I do :p Good work on all the PMA floating around the thread at the moment, hopefully this will translate into lots of lovely October BFPs.

It's been too long and too many people have posted for me to do personal replies to everyone (and I'm not as nice or observant as QQ :rotfl:) but atton honey, I just wanted to send *hugs* and best wishes to you. I know it must be really hard, but please try to think of all the positive things you have going for you and stop focussing on things that aren't quite going to plan. I know you've had a lot of health issues and your situation with the wedding is very stressful, but you have a partner who loves you, have started a uni course which will lead to lots of opportunities and you're still so young with so much ahead :o

I have decided to take control more in my next cycle, so from CD1 will be properly temping and have bought OV sticks to help me find out what's going on with my ridiculous cycles. I've also started properly sorting out the spare (read: baby's) room :D OH has been informed that we will be BDing when I say so and he seems to have accepted this with his usual compliance :rotfl:I would love to be able to share the news at Christmas, but am concentrating on all the other amazing things in my life atm.

    PMA list:

    - Wonderful husband who is very supportive
    - If I'm not pregnant then I can celebrate with wine at my birthday (4th November) and DH's 30th birthday (27th November)
    - The house is beginning to be more sorted and we're saving money which will allow us to buy baby essentials / treat ourselves if the time does or doesn't come
    - I have a great job which allows me to get baby cuddles to my heart's content (on a maternity ward)
    - DS is more than happy to let me babysit little nephew at any time :)
    - I'm now living much closer to my family and friends and can see them every week for hugs and support

:grouphug: I hope things go better than you're expecting hun. Is there no way you could consider moving jobs? I know it's hard at the moment but if you hate it that much and are facing such a long commute then it won't be doing your health or happiness any good :grouphug:
  • Hi Ladies, I hope your Monday is good so far!

Massive hugs to everyone on their CD1 or who have recently had one.

I’m due AF today and no sign at all, I usually get spotting anything up to a week before so I’m not sure what’s happening, CD29 and 19dpo today and I’m usually spot on my AF date. Tested yesterday (not FMU) and BFN but still no AF so I’m just waiting patiently for something to happen. Maybe get a FRER today and test using FMU tomorrow.

Yey to Elsie for O’ing J
    onlywayisup, (hugs) for your FIL
squ1rrel – good luck in your interview,
Tinkwings – good luck with your scan J
Liltymay – wish I had your courage to leave my job. I take my hat off to you.
Razwaz – so jealous of your weightloss – I’ve joined a gym and am healthy eating. Hopefully by Christmas I’ll be halfway to target J

Anyway sorry this is just a quick on as I’m at work. Must dash!

    Scoobs x

tealover - ((hugs)). Is the maternity package that brilliant that it's worth staying for? You would get SMP in another job, or Maternity Allowance (almost equivalent to SMP) if you weren't eligible for SMP. Anyway, I hope your meeting goes well tomorrow - will be thinking of you! xx
