Good luck for no more +ve OPKs MrsJ, hope the next +ve test you get tells you that you're Pregnant! :)

Ooh me too :) I'm not doing very well at taking a complete break from ttc for one cycle and then a relaxed approach until Christmas, am I?!? Feel ridiculously pleased with myself for getting a positive ov opk... I mean, it's not like I did anything special is it? Just weed on a stick!!!!

Oh Mrs(not)J I felt the same the other day! Was my first ever one! I wanted to post on facebook and tell the world cos I was so excited, but I settled for coming on here instead :rotfl: You can ov 12-36 hours after it tho, so still quite a bit more BDing to do if you can manage it. I think we managed 3 days (which is quite good for us, lol!), and then DH was away anyway so at least I didn't have to contemplate going again even tho I didn't want to and was getting quite sore :o:eek: I still have no idea how tinkwings managed twice a day for 11 days :eek:

Loulou - have you tested again? Maybe its just a shy bean?

Littleme - Where you off on holiday? Hope AF stays away for the next 9 months ;)

Birdie - hope OH gets his sample sorted soon. My friends hubby had to drop in a sample at the hospital after a vasectomy to check it had worked ok and they rang him a few days later to say it had gone missing  He was quite concerned that someone had nicked off with his sperms :rotfl::rotfl:

Jules - I aren't ignoring yours (or anyone elses) kind offers of things, but being miss optimistic I think I will catch this month and won't need it :o:o:o:o Really should start preparing myself for if it doesn't work out this month as my little brain is quite convinced it has :o:o:o

QQ - will post a piccie in a bit :D Am very proud of them. Going to laplandUK in Kent. Its not very MSE in the slightest, but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet with these things and besides its nowhere near as expensive as real lapand. Its also a 500mile+ round journey, but will be staying with friends or in a premier inn type place. Have told DH I don't want a birthday or christmas present (well, apart from a baby, but I ordered that last year as well ) DD will be 6.5 and this is my christmas with her (me and my ex have to take turns) so by the time I have her next christmas (when she is 8.5) then she might not believe anymore :( Hoping she still will, but we shall see....

abis - I don't think we can keep going!! We have managed four out of the last five days which is unheard of for us!! Surely there are enough sperm all stored up now! We might manage tomorrow but there's no way I can persuade DH tonight...especially as yesterday we had a big conversation where he said he hates feeling under pressure for sex around OV time! I really do think I might have ovulated already.... boobs feeling swollen like they usually do post-ov.... Going to do my test in about an hour if there's a smiley face on there I might actually cry :rotfl: Oh my goodness I'm so irrational - yesterday I had never been happier when I saw that smiley face.... today it's the last thing I want to see :rotfl:

ETA - I agree, tinks if you are reading HOW did you manage twice a day for 11 days?!

ETA a second time... tinks, thinking about it, I do remember you saying you broke your DH!! Is he fixed again now?!

I had 2 positives, one on tuesday and one on wednesday. I had ran out then anyways, so couldn't test on thursday and DH went away fri morning so even if it was still positive there wasn't anything I could do.

DH is the opposite to you tho really, as I let him know what it going on. I think if he just thought it was for fun then he wouldn't bother when he was feeling tired etc, but seeing as its for a reason he puts an extra effort in. I was so grateful on weds night when I knew he couldn't really be bothered but did it anyway that I cried afterwards. How VERY romantic!!!! :o:o Still its better than my crying hissy fit I once had when he said no cos I kept going on and on about how I couldn't do this particular part without his help!! :o:o

TTC is too bloomin emotional!!! I do feel soooooo sorry for DH putting up with my moods etc.

I don't really get that many ov signs, or don't notice them. Without the OPKs this month I would have never known.

  • Hi all and *hugs* to those who need it.
Am at the end of 2ww, feel AF will be on the way tho :(.
Going away for hols for a couple of days and then seeing family. Need the time to destress and work out how to get get myself back. Looking back, always take a bit of a confidence knock back at first when I change Jobs
Was thinking a couple of sessions of cystral healing or some else is needed for the body and mind.
abis would love to see your crafts too. Am making hampers this year and enjoying it :)
