Trying for a Baby Part 8

Q, I would say on average I am ss'ing a weeny bit less this time, but it is so hard!
Auugh just had the drive home from hell. Seriously I think every fcuking moron wa on the road, and surprise surprise, all men!
On the ss'ing front...I am seriously off coffee. Second time this week someone has made me a cup and I've had a few mouthfuls and felt I was going to gag. The smell itself makes me want to heave (just thinking about the smell makes my stomach turn)
Probably nothing, but I am intreigued as I normally have to have at least one coffee in the morning.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
MV - Skanky tasting coffee was my first symptom. Had to throw it out. Fingers crossed for you.
Loulou - yay for the dead cricket :rotfl: I hated them. Then the lizard escaped one day as well!! I was never any good with pets when I was younger :rotfl: Hugs for your rubbish time at work
Courgette - I'm with you on that oneDon't like my periods one little bit after my miscarriage
Its all a reminder that I could do without to be honest. ((hugs))
Rumfeeble - Good luck with testing. Hope it adds to our bumper crop of BFP's in september
T2D - what symptoms are you inventing?? Hope you manage to sneak another BD in
Razwaz - Hope its a positive sign of positive things to come
Leopardlady - Hugs for CD1. Hope its the last you see of auntie flow this year  Come and update us on the mooncup tho please. I am interested in it, but don't know anyone that uses one to ask advice off. My sister was telling me about her friend who used it and my sister asked a couple of questions, and the friend said she'd show it to my sister. She came back from the toilets with itMy sister had thought she had it in her handbag so was totally grossed out that it had just been up her friends foof :rotfl: It was clean btw if anyone is wondering
QQ - my grandad is 82 I think? Or maybe 81? I'm not totally sure. Quite oldBut its still sad. Hopefully going in to hospital on friday to see him.
AFM - did a ov text earlier but not quite there yet. CD13 today. Last 2 cycles were 35 days, then 31 days, so presume ov days were CD21 and CD17. No idea what it will be this time tho. I don't normally do OPKs but as I aren't temping this month and I had some ICs left over I thought I'd have a go with them. Am trying to BD every 2 days to cover all bases.
I really shouldn't be looking at due dates for my potential baby this month and seeing how far pregnant I could be by my birthday and whether I could have had a viable scan complete with heartbeat etc by thenMarried my lobster in July 2011
TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait
 2013 is going to be our lucky year :dance:0 -
Sorry to hear about your Grandfather Abis.
I have a Mooncup, well mines actually called a femmecup.
I actually rather like it, I somehow feel cleaner as I always feel 'sticky' when wearing pads and tampons.
Having said that it can make some rather questionable noises on removal so can be a bit dodgy for use in public loos!!!0 -
Metranil - I read you're testing on Saturday ? How early did you test when you were pg with your 1st?? I think I'll wait til i'm late, so next Weds.I really shouldn't be looking at due dates for my potential baby this month and seeing how far pregnant I could be by my birthday and whether I could have had a viable scan complete with heartbeat etc by then
Lol! Totally did this today too, May 29th ! Lovely early summery baby !Leopardlady wrote: »Also I made a decision to try the mooncup this month
I used the Mooncup for a couple of years, but i haven't used it for a year or two, it's not practical for rincing it where i work as the sink is outside the toilet cabin if you see what i mean.
I'm feeling really positive this cycle, as even if we didn't catch the egg, it's the first time i've noticed ov symptoms at the right time, so it's a good sign !
Who's next to test?? I can't wait to see the nxt BFP !!
Hugs to everyone0 -
Pomme I think I was 12dpo last time, so I will be testing a day earlier.
LL - good luck with the mooncup. Forgive my ignorance but isn't that something you wear for AF? Does it help collect sperm or something? Glad your cycle seems to be nice and on time anywayMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Hi all
Hope everyone is OK. I'm feeling more positive today, looking forward to my CBFM trial! Started it yesterday and looking forward to using it.
Does anyone use ICs alongside it?
I wondered about getting a mooncup but I'm not sure that it'd be practical for work or how I'd get on with it.
Lots of SS here!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Hi all, a quick update on day 1 with moon cup. I am lucky at work as we only have a disabled loo for the ladies and this means that the sink is in the room with the loo, so cleaning is easy. The noisy is odd, but I was getting very sore and swollen when using tampons, so was very keen to try it. I also don't like the feeling with pads. I am getting used the feeling and I do like how clean i feel. As i say tomorrow will be a serious test, so lets see how it goes, it does say it can do 8 hours so this should work quite well. The cost can look a little high to begin with but I think that i only need to use it for just about a year of AFs to make up the cost of tampons.
Of course i hope that i don't have another AF this year, but unless OHs back gets better then I think we will have to wait a couple more months before bding is back on the menu!
MV on the idea of collecting sperm, i am not sure, I have got my moon cup to use for AF and only AFLeopardlady
Got married on the 26th April 08!!!!!!!:j:T

Yes, sounds abit like a plunger ! Delightful !
Metranil - What symptoms did you have with your 1st?? I suppose that they might be the same with a second, except if it's the opposite se x !
Where do you ladies buy internet cheapies from ? Tests here can only be purchased in pharmacies, and are about €10 a pop. Too much to test early every cycle !0 -

From memory I had a very sore throat, and felt a bit nauseous a few times. Nothing spectacular, and I certainly don't remember an aversion to coffee!
What day will you be testing?
