arrrgh. Yesterday Mr code started making noises about being too immature for babies. This is probably because I was making noises about him getting his swimmers checked. I've decided to just ignore him and continue anyway which may sound mean but he says he wants a baby, then 2 months later he doesnt, then he does, then he doesnt and I'm 32 and its not happening anyway and if we stop and start according to his indecision, we'll never get there.

I am very grumpy today. Can you tell? :D

Funnily my OH is coming up with similar rubbish to your OH Code! A few months back he said he'd do whatever it took to have a baby, now I'm going to the GP and getting tests done and he knows that it's only a matter of time until he has to have his swimmers checked he's all 'Oh, I'm kind of over wanting a baby for now. I mean, it'll be great if it happens but lets just relax and worry about it after Christmas'. I know he's just scared but surely the not knowing is worse?!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

BZ - thanks so much for the good advice, very much appreciated. It's so easy to think 'a problem's been identified, I'll get the right treatment, and I'll be pregnant soon' but of course in reality it's very different. Hope you are doing ok, it's lovely to hear from you on this thread, we miss you!

tea/coffee lover - ooh, let me know what you think about the book! I almost gave up on it after reading that quinine (key ingredient in tonic water) was something to avoid when ttc.... but then I had a think and decided I could sacrifice G & T for a baby. Just about.

ooh eck QQ i never meant to give the impression i'm hepped up about TTC atm, i was referring to people joking about the weewee turning purple when they are pg! lol

i'm actually fairly relaxed for me in the 2ww, no symptom spotting or anything.
a brew does sound belting though....so yes, i'm very stressed. i need the most expensive most tastiest tea in all the land. ahem x x

Haven't managed to get out at lunch so I'm going to drive past superdrug on my way home and pick up a double pack I test with tomorrow morning. I do have another sainsburys one but might leave that until next week x
