QQ - thanks for the good luck wishes :) I know we are in a very privileged position to be able to go private - what I'm hoping (although we'll see what FS says!) is that I'll get a prescription for Clomid and then abracadabra I'll be pregnant...(in my dreams, I know). If it's more complicated than that/we need more expensive treatment then we'll go back to the NHS and I'll really push to see if I can get referred sooner. I know I'm under 35, but there is a known issue (PCOS) so I was surprised they wouldn't consider a referral after a year.

    I'm just impatient :o

could you try asking for a referral to a gyneacologist? i've sort of sneaked in under the radar doing that to get my tests. i find it helps to find the young cute male doctor who knows nothing about these things and tell him what you want, mine gave me it out of sheer embarrassment i'm sure :rotfl:

    Welcome Jellybean and Firefly!

Lovely new thread, although you've got to stop talking so much, we're on page [strike]6[/strike] 7 already!

I really hope that the negative tests turn positive in the next couple of days! :)

We've decided that we're going to take a relaxed approach to TTC until November. Once we get back from Florida, if I'm not PG by then, we'll try to be more pro-active, well, OH will have to be more pro-active as the issue is mainly him not being up for it! :p

Saying that, we're all such fans of tempting fate here that I couldn't help myself signing up for a workplace 'Biggest Loser' challenge, in groups of 4 we have to compete to lose the most weight. I really need to lose a good stone, which will be good for TTC... but I'm obviously hoping that I'll soon be putting on baby weight instead! :)

I think my manager has passed her lurgy onto me, feel all headachy and sore throaty today. :(
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

poor you! your body will get used to and more importantly so will you. make sure you're taking it whilst eating and have 3 meals a day. sugary stuff will make the side effects worse so keep an eye on that.

i can't really comment on whether it'll go back to 'normal' as a side effect for me having my gallblader out is that my natural state is c*nstipated which i hate, so it has a tendency to balance out in the end.

just keep a few books in the toilet and always keep in mind where the nearest one is when out, which i suppose is training for weak bladder in pregnancy lol x x

Thank you! Probably way TMI here but I'm usually constipated too (endo adhesions on bowel and lots of codiene-based pk's). I'm quite glad of that atm as I dread to think how bad it would be without that lol. I wouldn't be able to leave the house :rotfl:.

    mrsj28,
RazWaz, (((hugs))), could you have ov'd late?

I'm not sure, I got a tiny bit of bleeding 2 days ago, which is normal for me (I normally spot for 2 days before AF). But I've had absolutely nothing since. AF was due to start yesterday, and I've had cramps, just no blood, not even stained CM.

It can't have been implantation bleeding, as that would mean OV was CD17+ and I stopped visiting my donor at CD 13.

QQ - wise words, thank you!!

TeamLowe - right, I will hunt down the cute young male doctor and embarrass him with tales of my overgrown lady garden and the woes of waiting for a period. And maybe I'll cry too. I don't think I'm pushy enough at GP appointments - I usually just sit there and nod and accept what they tell me... and pretend I'm totally fine about not being pregnant yet...

You ladies are great - thank you for the reassurance/support/advice!

I know what you mean :p I used to get the runs all the time from IBS but when I started using painkillers for my back pain it sorted it out :p

NikNok could you buy a different brand test, although not a boots own brand or anything with blue dye because imo they are a bag of w@nk.
