I think metformin is trying to kill me! Someone reassure me that the side effects wear off soon please.
  • QQ could I go on the testing list for Saturday please?

    Conversation of the day:

DH: COMP, what does triphasic mean?
COMP: Are you looking at my FF chart by any chance?
DH: Maybe. So what does it mean?
COMP: It means that the house is hot.
    DH: Really????
COMP: Yeah. If you don't believe me, google it.

    (Half hour later)

DH: It doesn't mean the house is hot. I googled it.
COMP: My temperature is probably higher because the house is hot!!!
DH: That's not it. I can tell.

    MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

((hugs)) tea/coffee lover - hope you feel better soon. I can't give any advice on side effects of metformin, but I know there are lots of ladies who do take it (and are still alive), so I'm sure there'll be some advice on here soon!

14 months is a long time to wait. I suppose it's because you are still so young. They'll usually refer you after 6 months if over 35.
tea lover, good luck with the scan:)
becca, some do have success on their 2nd Soy cycle, so don't give up on it just yet:o

Gotta love a dodgy group hug on a Monday morning! A good sense of humour is what stops me from going completely insane whilst ttc. Sometimes you have to laugh...

It came up as a BFN but when you take it to pieces there are 2 lines on the stick. Very confusing. This poas isn't cheap either!

I think you were supposed to wean into it. How about reducing the dose?

You chart does look good, although hot houses can cause it too:o

p.s. after all the chat last week about tea/coffee and the new coffee machine at tealover's workplace I have suddenly decided I MUST have a nice coffee maker at home!! I'm looking at those capsule ones but can't decide... they are quite pricey so might wait for Christmas!

QQ - thanks for the good luck wishes :) I know we are in a very privileged position to be able to go private - what I'm hoping (although we'll see what FS says!) is that I'll get a prescription for Clomid and then abracadabra I'll be pregnant...(in my dreams, I know). If it's more complicated than that/we need more expensive treatment then we'll go back to the NHS and I'll really push to see if I can get referred sooner. I know I'm under 35, but there is a known issue (PCOS) so I was surprised they wouldn't consider a referral after a year.

    I'm just impatient :o

My chart looked good last month yet I'm still here ;) That's why I gave DH the explanation that I did. I'm a firm believer in what will be will be, so no testing until Saturday and no SS. Well I say no SS, but VIP FF encourages it! As I'm logging stuff on FF I am also finding rational explanations for them in my head.

1 - I'm tired / fatigued because it's hot and I'm emotionally drained by my friend
2 - I was nauseous on Friday because I had fatty food
