I wasn't preventing them from investigating it, I was preventing them from breaking the law. The police do not have a right to break the law, no matter what you may think.

And how exactly were they breaking the law (without your anti police provoked exaggeration)?

I did. I stand by what I posted as you posted absolutes. This post of yours is better, see we can all improve.

    No you didn't.

And you keep brining up isolated cases to try and attack the police as a whole. We all know there have been a few isolated cases, but that doesn't mean that all police officers are the same.

That list is only exhaustive if the police are decent upstanding honest diligent and hardworking. Too many of them are lazy, vindictive malicious and mendacious.

How many do you actually know??

I'm sure some may be, just as in any other walk of life. But you shouldn't make sweeping statements about something you know nothing about. In fact most police officers are extremely overworked, and under staffed, due to budget cuts. And then you also have to take into account the dangerous situations they are often faced with (often on their own due to cut backs, until backup eventually arrives). Don't criticise people who do a job that puts them in danger, to do a job that you couldn't/wouldn't do, in order to keep the public safe.

I have not attacked the police as a whole. And your reply makes no sense in relation to what I have posted.
Also at no point have I said all police are the same.
Sorry I had not realised you were not very good at English (either that or you are just someone who lies to try and make apoint).

Just great being found not guilty by a Jury after 6 months on remand or out on bail with it hanging over you. I lost a chance of a good job because I was waiting for a court case years ago. And spent a holiday weekend in a bare police cell when I was first arrested.

There are far too many guilty people who get off. And unfortunately on rare occasions, inocent people are found guilty. But one thing is for certain, is that most people who are held on remand are guilty. Even though some get off on a technicallity, or a mess up by the CPS.

Obviously I can't comment on your individual case.

Attempting to question a minor without the minor being aware of his rights to have a parent or legal representation present. They only stopped when I showed them my work ID, at which point they rapidly back-tracked and claimed they weren't questioning him at all, and then asked for one of his parents to make an appointment at the station.

But I'm sure you'll say that they were within their rights to do this, even though the force disagreed and the minor and his parents received a written apology.

I do not agree with you.

You wouldn't, because you hate the police, so in your eyes, they can never do right.

Being a police officer does not mean one is immune to criticism and I doubt you'd find any good police officer who thinks that should be the case.

    Well don't then.
