Where did I say I hate the police, that is just a lie. Apologise now liar.Jamie_Carter wrote: »You wouldn't, because you hate the police, so in your eyes, they can never do right.

One is too many.Jamie_Carter wrote: »How many do you actually know??
I'm sure some may be, just as in any other walk of life. But you shouldn't make sweeping statements about something you know nothing about. In fact most police officers are extremely overworked, and under staffed, due to budget cuts. And then you also have to take into account the dangerous situations they are often faced with (often on their own due to cut backs, until backup eventually arrives). Don't criticise people who do a job that puts them in danger, to do a job that you couldn't/wouldn't do, in order to keep the public safe. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. In other words, the issues with the police and the priests are not a matter of majorities or large or small minorities. They are a matter of a corrupt system which cover over for the minority of deficient priests or officers to the extent that the institution is brought into disrepute.

Now you have just proved your ignorance!0 -

Also at no point have I said all police are the same.
Sorry I had not realised you were not very good at English (either that or you are just someone who lies to try and make apoint).
I am dyslexic...are you discriminating against me also?0 -

They only stopped when I showed them my work ID, at which point they rapidly back-tracked and claimed they weren't questioning him at all, and then asked for one of his parents to make an appointment at the station.
But I'm sure you'll say that they were within their rights to do this, even though the force disagreed and the minor and his parents received a written apology.
Without being there I wouldn't know. But then what makes you an expert? Were you standing next to them the whole time?0 -
NewKittenHelp wrote: »Being a police officer does not mean one is immune to criticism and I doubt you'd find any good police officer who thinks that should be the case.
Nobody is immune to criticism. But they shouldn't be criticised just because they are police officers, and the critic hates all police officers.0 -
adouglasmhor wrote: »Well don't then.
I wouldn't if you hadn't brought it up. But if you tell us that you were on remand, then I'm sure there was a good reason for it.0 -

I think it is obvious that you hate the police from your comments.0 -

Yes I agree. And I think all corrupt people in all walks of life should be brought to book. But public service seems to be the only place where this happens. In the private sector corruption seems to be a means to make a profit.0 -
So am I - it does not make me deliberately misunderstand words.Jamie_Carter wrote: »I am dyslexic...are you discriminating against me also? The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
