As a relative newbie I'm not sure I'm qualified to comment especially in light of posting a few times today. i don't think there's anything wrong with posting pictures if you think people may be interested and only once in a while. My other posts today were in answer to other posters. I don't understand the need for repeated one line posts when there is a perfectly good edit button which most people use. It's not a huge deal but I can see why older/regular posters are fed up with being unable to find OS posts.
I use the arms for this kind of thing and it's great fun.I'm also increasingly embarrased by how high my thanks score is in relation to my post count since posting in here:o I hope I haven't ofended anyone. It's not my intention

I've just read ticklemouse's post! I didn't say anything domestic in my last post - sorry. Here goes: cleaned bathroom and loo, made bed, tried to find enough of a load for the washing machine but couldn't without being uneconomical (and I am wasting a brilliant drying day, too!), made two cakes and chopped kiwis and grapes for pudding. Salad sandwiches for lunch. Dinner is championship New Forest sausages from my local butcher, with yesterday's leftover spuds sauted in olive oil and probably leftover salad. Said fruit with yoghurt and honey. Read lots of post on here, fed the birds, walked up to the shop for the paper - lovely day for it - flicked the hoover round and swept the kitchen floor, sorted through some post. In a minute, I will do my menu plan for the next two weeks write my grocery receipts up and cost this week's meals. I must also write up some birthday cards to post tomorrow - I'm glad I reminded myself about that! Anyway, will look in again later. Hope you are ALL having a great day and that the weather wherever you are is as good as it is here!

You thank someone who you feel has helped you in some way. Some people thank every post they ever read - others thank the posts that they have found useful, funny, etc. It's up to you.

Im loving the pics, Iwould love to post one of my late cat 'norman' but lost the link to insert an image.

kyle thanks. It seems strange how Im not overally upset ref my nanna,(deep down I am, but dont show emotion these days) as I was more close to her than my grandad, allthough she died 2yrs ago, in her heart she died when grandad did, and she was never the same, and more so when her dimentia got worse. Grandad died on my birthday, so its not a happy occasion to remember. Just seems strange. As they say - times a great healer, so perhaps thats whats happening!

mimiF my kids are exactly the same with thi shour difference. Usually bedtime is around 7.30-8pm. Last night it was 9.30pm and I had to wake them for school this morning. Hope it settles soon!

Off to do the school run now, will catch up again shortly.

    Morning All,

Its been an age since I last posted and I've had a PM or 2 asking where I am so thought I'd best update the board!

My new year started with a resolution to get rid of the bulimia that has been with me for the last 14 years. Started OK, hard but OK. Then it all got a bit crazy and I found myself falling into all the old bad habits. I've lost 34 lbs which is nice but what happened on sunday was awful.

I havent been eating properly and blacked out at the top of our (very steep) stairs. Fell all the way down and couldnt move. They sent an ambulance, wanted to send the helicopter but nowhere for them to land! So after a painful trip to hospital, numerous xrays and lots of porphine I've been told its serios. Turns out I've fractured my spine and have a bone chip floating about in there too. Am covered in bruises, they look awful and even my bum cheeks are purple!!!

So I am confined to bed for the forseeable future, oh what fun, Teach me a lesson though wont it?

I do hope you are all having a good 2007, I havent been reading the boards lately so I do apologise for not being up to date. Though the talk of Ian Beale today tells me you're all in fine form and being your normal selves!!!

    Love to all,
    Al.
    Good luck with the bulimia.
