Got to say I agree with TM - I havent posted my day for a long time now because it seems to be more arms type one liners and as I already post in the arms quite a bit it just seemed a bit samey.

Maybe we need another thread that runs purely for one line chat and then we can keep our lovely daily thread where everyone just posts their day for us nosy parkers:o Having said that maybe these type of posts should just be moved to the arms?

I know things change and maybe the daily thread has now just changed to be something different. Anyway thats my thoughts and I will disappear quietly again now:D

Anyone else coming over to the arms for a pint?:beer:

Just got back from taking DS to doctors and I've been told he's got chicken pox for the 3rd time (and this is the second time he's got it this month - doctor couldn't believe it!!) Has anyone else ever known of somebody thats had chicken pox this many times?

So i'm off work now until after easter :j

I've been looking at all your lovely pet photos and aren't they gorgeous. I had a westie puppy called Ellie but I had to re-home her when I split up with my OH because she was on her own all day while I was at work and had she started to destroy everything out of boredom. I would attach a picture for you but I don't know what I'm doing!!

So I'm like some of you and not done much today. I'm off to finish of my shopping lists and meal plans. I might even do a shop online as I have a couple of vouchers.

I can see what you're saying but I thought the whole idea of the daily thread was an over the garden fence type of chat

well no one else seems to mind, infact people are joing in.. its having a bit of harmless fun, nothing here is meant to hurt or upset anyone, and we are not posting about nothing.. if someone posts then it is something to them, .. lighten up !!!!

Didn't say anyone's posts were meant to hurt anyone. Just said that the daily thread has got boring to the point that I (and a lot of others) don't read it much any more - which is a shame because there are a lot of people whose daily lives I did enjoy reading about. I have taken to reading certain posters individual posts now and replying by way of pm, msn and e mail.

So, as you say -lighten up and take your one liners and holiday snaps to The Arms where they belong.
