Hiya all! Well done  !
I have failed miserably this week, not good at all. I had to put my road tax on my credit card but paid part of it off, BUT blooming interest has gone on and as it’s a bank holiday they’ve not paid my paypal money into my account (hmm they can take money from me on a bank holiday but won’t give it to me, grh) so I’m right back where I started up at £999 and on a serious mission now.
Transferred my balance to a card with 0% interest, did via Uswitch on pigsback so should get 500 points for that (left it too late for the 1500)
Hoping to pay off a chunk on Tuesday when paypal finally clears and I’ve still got a rake of stuff to throw on ebay, probably do 7 or 10 day auctions since it’s the Easter hols . I’ll pop my (non) progress in my signature so I can keep track.
I’ve got a fair few books to list, but after a quick search on Amazon I’ve found they’re going for a fair bit more on there. Might take a bit longer to sell, but it’ll only take one person to want a book for it to go for a decent price, plus you don’t get charged fees until after it sells. And I’ve sent in the application for the part time job. I felt I was doing so well yesterday, until I went and checked my balances today0 -
Yay - a co-worker gave me £40 today, I had borrowed it to them about 2 months ago and I had completely forgotten about it, so another £40 to the pot!!!!!0

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Alas, I didn't win anything on the lottery (not that I actually play it) I'm stuck with paypal/the bank keeping my dosh over the bank holiday, although sales on ebay have been pretty good the past couple of days so fingers crossed I'll be able to get some figures together soon too.
I had a mini crisis at the end of last week re debts, car, house etc but new week, new start!
Was also reliably informed by the boyfriend that he owes me about £150 that I completely forgot about
Hows everyone else getting on?0 -
My good intentions for the weekend went out the window again
Was *supposed* to finally be getting broadband at home on saturday, and my plan was to list loads on Ebay, however it didn't  Couldn't face coming into the office on the bank holiday, so still not listed the pile of stuff I've got sitting there!
On the other hand though, my spending was very minimal over the weekend, so feeling quite please with myselfTotal Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

I've been useless this weekend... must make up for it for the next few weeks! will hopefully have some extra money coming in as have been able to work more over the bank holidays in my second job, and at double time too. Am going to throw that extra cash straight at the CC.
I also reduced my limit for the first time ever as have been feeling very low recently and the temptation to buy a holiday was massive. I feel very proud of that!0 -
I dont think i deserve to be a member of this challenge - i went sh*pping yesterday and spent most of the money i'd made on ebay0
