Yippee! I've managed 3 NSDs in a row...helped by the fact tuck shop didn't even open while on the training weekend! It's been a fab weekend...and there was me thinking it'd be pretty boring and common sense! A couple of the guys I met on training camp 2 weeks ago were there and it was lovely to see them and get to know them better, as well as one or 2 people I've not seen in ages. We did the training which was handy...now just need to get it all signed off!...and had some fun free time. I learned a new card game, was given beer and acquired a lovely woggle and survival bracelet in return for a friendship knot in a necker and friendship bracelet.
We did all get a bit of a telling off last night...which has been the cause of a few laughs today!! We'd had a drink and good few hours free time and went to bed around half 12. The 'men' (and I use the term loosely here regarding their age!) waited until we were all in our room and began knocking on the wall...so naturally we knocked back for a while. It all went quiet...then one of the guys leaned out of their window and knocked on ours!! So we stood having a laugh and a chat through the window, not realising that our kitchen staff for the weekend were in the room opposite oops!
Wish I could unwind this evening but my brain is ticking over annoyingly as I should hear about my job interview tomorrow! I hope it's early on because I might go mad otherwise...and if I get the job I need to ring up a school and let them know I won't be going to interview on Weds (and if I don't get it I need to keep applying; and do some more of my proof reading course!)
That was a bit crazy and rambling! TTFN xx*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*

I can't believe I can finally say this! I'VE GOT A JOB!!!! After an awful night's sleep and the longest morning ever when I felt so sure I'd not got it I got THE CALL! And I was offered it! I can't wait to start. It's the right age group for me, and from what I've seen so far it's the right school for me too. Talking to mum yesterday it felt right, it felt like I was talking about somewhere I'd fit right in..and now I can find out for sure!! Starting asap so I can get to know the class before the person I'm taking over from goes off on maternity! I'm so excited! Can't stop bouncing around! I honestly thought it would never happen with knockback after knockback but now it's actually happened!!
All that disappoints me at the moment is that my boyfriend is still none the wiser. I tried to call him but he's off in the Dales somewhere and there's no signal, so he won't know until he goes out later. We'll have to celebrate when he's home at the weekend

Thanks Granny :-) I woke up on such a high this morning and soon after had a phonecall asking if I could go in with id and stuff so they could sort out my CRB form. I've just had a call asking if I can start on Monday! Can't believe it's all happened so quick! Now to sort out signing off at the job centre! I can't believe how exhausted I am after just 2 days! I slept like a log last night but am still shattered again tonight! Work is amazing. The children in nursery are lovely, but quite early in their development (and very lively!) and the staff are very helpful and supportive. It's a lot of names to learn and a lot of routines to get the hang of and I've been rather thrown in at the deep end as I was meant to be shadowing the person I'm covering until half term, and she's off sick until half term when her maternity leave starts. Time for bed I think! TTFN x*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*

It's half term :-) We've just had 2 days of training in positive handling techniques which has been great for getting to know people around school (and really good training too!) and now we have a week (and a day tomorrow for Eid) off. So tomorrow I'm disappearing to the Lakes with my boyfriend for a couple of days of walks, photography, pub grub and log fires. I've not had a proper holiday in years (probably my 2nd year at uni really) so I'm really looking forward to getting away from it all for a bit and not having to think about anything. I'm also quite excited to get paid tomorrow (I think!) Sad I know but it's so nice to know I'm earning money again and everything is going to be slightly less of a panic when the bills come out each month! I'm also going to be able to start buying things to make Christmas cards and presents which will be handy!! Now I must sleep...I need it if I'm going to be getting up for sunrise over the weekend! (Why on Earth he wants to get up so early on his birthday I'll never know haha!) TTFN xx*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*

Thanks Granny :-) We had a lovely time. Even though I was quite ill on the way home, so my BF ended up playing nurse to me on Sunday evening (great way to spend his birthday!) But we had the nicest weekend ever
We stayed in a very remote B&B and went out for a lovely birthday meal at a country pub - I've never had such tasty steak...we may have to go there again! We had a lovely walk up a hill and a couple of hours in Ambleside as the weather wasn't as nice as we'd hoped. We're probably going back there again in the Spring sometime. We had a relaxed day on Monday going shopping and to the cinema to see Madagascar and have decided to try and go more often, particularly through the winter when we can't go out walking as much. We're also talking about taking up a new hobby. Rowing and climbing are 2 of the options so far, but we need to look into them a bit more first! I don't think I've ever been so cheerful :-) Trip to Manchester tomorrow to meet some friends which will be lovely :-) That's after a night of pretending I'm not in as I don't have any sweets to give out! Happy Halloween! TTFN xx

Oops. I've fallen off the MSE wagon a bit this month :S As I've been paid and it's a bit of a novelty I've been shopping left right and centre
I'm trying to be careful but it's so long since I've treated myself. I've only managed 1 NSD this week so I'm a bit cross with myself. And this week I'm going to Nottingham with BF to a house warming and to show him my favourite places from my uni days
so I can't see today being a NSD either. I hope I can avoid spending tomorrow and I'm going to start using online vouchers to buy some presents I think so that doesn't count as a spend as I've earned those
Happy Weekend
