It's been a busy couple of weeks since half term with a few observations going on at school which has meant a mad rush to get everything sorted in the classroom, World Book day (the theme was Bananas in Pajamas and great fun with various bedtime stories read during the day!), the Life Education bus to visit and a kitchen sink science show with a man from Magna coming into school!
At home I've been busy planning cub camp (and not doing a very good job of it!) and celebrating my birthday. I got a Sizz1x Big sh0t from my parents but have been so busy I've not had chance to use it yet! London has happened and was amazing apart from a slight panic on the tube and missing the train home because of a signal failure! We had an amazing meal in the Savoy (and I missed seeing someone from Corrie because I was too busy checking in to the place on Faceb00k) and went to the zoo (and bought 2 new cuddly penguins!!) It wasn't a very MSE weekend but we had a fabulous time!! Now I just need to sort out my photos and start my scrapbook
Today I finally used my gym membership again, going for a lovely swim with my OH. He was trying to teach me front crawl but I think I'll probably stick to breaststroke normally! We had fun so we're going to try to make it a more regular thing
A busy day ahead tomorrow as I need to tidy up and get a display sorted ready for school but it should be a reasonably relaxing day compared to recent days.

Ahhhhh It's the holidays!! And there's less than an hour to go until I can eat chocolate and crisps again!! I've not been bothered until the past couple of days but I've been craving chocolate quite badly wandering round the supermarket today!! Not planning on staying awake though as it's up early for the early service tomorrow morning!
I've been pretty good this month...aside from spending in London I haven't spent a great deal of money. Next month however, I want to pay off half our holiday and send off for my new passport so it has plenty of time to get here! Fortunately not too many other spends to think about as my brother's birthday present was bought months ago! Though I really do need to start saving up if I ever want to be able to move out.
It's been a good week work-wise (apart from being stuck inside because of the snow!) and the 'Easter Bunny' aka me paid a visit on Thursday! It was great fun and the children loved it! They had an Easter egg hunt and spent ages looking for bunny after he'd gone! One of the boys told me he knew I was the Bunny because it had my chin haha!
My OH was snowed out last weekend (drifts of about 5ft either side of the road and 4x4s stuck with snow blowing across the fields) so he stayed with me and my parents for a few nights. Good to know that when the weather throws us all into the same house the time flies and we all get on! He even has good conversations with my dad...and my dad isn't the most talkative person you'll ever meet!
I suppose if I plan to be up for 8.30 communion (which my body will think is 7.30 with the clocks changing) I really should try convince myself I'm asleep!
HAPPY EASTER!

A good start to the month. 1st of the month and 1st NSD! I did go to Tesc0 to buy some pop and wandered round picking up a couple of things, then decided I could get them tomorrow and put them back. Walked home before realising I hadn't bought pop! Luckily found a can of lemonade in my bag from work! Went out for tea with the family but mum paid.
I've not had the most productive day really...I've done half a jigsaw and watched a couple of films and got incredibly excited about going away tomorrow! I've only half packed my stuff so it's a good job I'm not being picked up until 1! Apparently I still need some wooden clothes pegs...one of the boys going with us hasn't shut up about them since about Christmas!
Came across a cruel joke on Faceb00k earlier and got very excited that David Tennant was apparently coming back as the Doctor, only to realise it had been posted around 10am and it was of course an April Fools' Prank :'-(
I shall be back on Sunday, refreshed and probably singing new songs!!

What an exciting and exhausting week! Sad to be home and back to reality but I've met some lovely people and feel revitalised. I can't stop singing the new songs we've been learning... Annoying when you can only remember a few lines!
And while I've been away OH has been to the bank and just needs to save for a few months to be able to buy a house... Just need to find the one now!
All that's left to do this holiday is finish getting ready for camp at the weekend and I can't wait until that's over! I suppose I'd like better get on with making sure everything is organised really! I TTFN x*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*

Blimey it's a while since I've popped in. Half term is nearly over and I've not relaxed yet. Decided to shift the furniture round in my room which is going to be a challenge. Everything needs emptying before it can be moved and it's such an effort. I think I'm going to have to be ruthless in throwing stuff out too
Naturally I'm relaxing with a cuppa before I do anything, even though my mum has given me a job to do which is going to take about an hour (assuming I don't have to wait for a bus)
I've not had a very MSE week as I've bought a blu-ray player so my mum can finally have her DVD player back and I've bought a couple of things ready for my holiday (now that I've found my passport!)
The weather is beautiful again so at least the trip out for my mum will be pleasant and I can hang bedding outside to dry

Yay! It's the summer holidays and so much has changed since I last popped in here!
I'm officially going to be a teacher in September as I've been asked if I'll teach for a term in reception which will be absolutely fab! But means quite a busy holiday since I only found out a week before we broke up. 29 of my class I've worked with in nursery so I know what they'll need in September when we go back, but I have a lot of planning to do!
In a month I'll be in Italy...definitely happening now I've got my passport! I was amazed it only took a couple of weeks to come back. I thought at this time of year it would take a good month! It does mean I don't have a great deal of time to get my bikini body ready...or buy a new bikini...must write a shopping list!!
I've got less than a year if I plan to pass my driving test before my provisional license expires so I'm hoping OH will take me out driving a few times now I'm off for 6 weeks, and I'll have to get practicing the theory test questions again.
Other plans for this holiday are to finish my proof reading course - or at least try to! and make a few cards ready for a craft fayre we're holding at church. It's not until December but I need to get organised if I'm going to have enough cards to sell!
I suppose I should crack on!
