We bulk buy:

Laundry cleaner and fabric conditioner (only buy certain brand when on offer)
Loo Rolls (Just got 36 of milkman for £6 with a voucher code)

We bulk buy at Costco but if you are a small household there's a risk that some things may go out of date before you're able to use them up. The secret then is to share with a friend who will eat/use the same products as you do so that you get the benefit of the bulk-buy price but don't have the problem of too little storage to accommodate stuff, or finding you've still got stuff to use which is out of date.0

I bulk buy a lot, but much of it is already listed.
The only one to add is Red Bull. I have to drink a can a day as I get cluster headaches, and if you visit the supermarkets at the right time, you can get it for as little as 66p in bulk, compared to 1.79 in the local supermarket.
And no, it's vile enough already, I'm not switching to some even more awful own brand.
wow, i can't tell the difference between the own brands i've tried and red bull such as tesco, aldi and asda. might be worth a try for the price diff aldi £1.59 for 6 tins. also tesco are selling nergy (i think) for 25p a tin:love: married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090 -
in our stock is
loads of pasta sauce (tesco bargain)
loads of wholemeal pasta (tesco bargain)
lots of diff cook in sauces/ curry sauces (asda discontinued)
over a years worth of washing liquid/ tablets, dishwasher tabs, shower gel, face wipes, shower gel, tampons, razor blades, deoderants, toothbrushes, fabric cond, stock cubes.
at least six months of handwash, toothpaste.
plus loads more i've forgotten.
all the above we have bought when on special offer/ discontinued due to repackaging or a glitch. married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090 -
Miney is mostly the same as others, I only started in the past year or so but have already got enough laundry detergent and fabric softener to last a year due to MOCs from uniliver for Persia and comfort making it a couple of £s for a bottle of each because of half price offers.
I also have loads of stuff due to the MOCs from supersavvyme's mission control on Facebook, toothpaste for 24p a tube, always towels free, fairy washing up liquid -free, detol - free, febreeze - free, a few others that I can't think of at the moment also.
I also have enough Palmolive liquid soap to last a wee whilealong with other items I got free along with them because the MOC was for more than they cost
Body form towels for 25p again MOC's
My friend calls in when she needs something (she's 4 kids and works all the hours she can to cover all her bills) I used to send round wee parcels with the kids full of treats and essentials but she said it felt like charity when her kids told people when the stuff came from so we came to an agreement that if she took anything from the cupboards she'd put a small amount of money in a tin and at Xmas we'd open it and she'd go on a shopping spree for the kids Xmas prezzies. This has encouraged her to put away each week so she has less to pay out for Xmas so should be an easier one this year for her s she's now on her second tin
sorry went off subject.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Hi there i was wondering (And forgive me if i am in the wrong thread) if anyone can tell me if i can get a costco trade account using a letter from companies house showing I am a registered business, and a business letterhead?
I dont have a business bacnk account yet, just in the process of starting up, and dont have any invoices yet either, but wanted to join ASAP to get the things i need to get the business started.
I had read somewhere else somene DID join using these but that was back in 2006, so i wondered iff anyone could enlighten me on this from any more recent experience.

I am always bulk buying, I have over 100 bottles of fabric conditioner, ranging from 5p Comfort Pure to 68p Lenor.
I have about 10 boxes of powder from the £2.20 Persil offer last year and £3 Ariels this year. I always stock up on toilet roll (Amazon's Andrex misprice £10 for 5 pks), Cushelle for £2.50 (half price and I had a 50p voucher) and buy lots of half price Napolina Tomatos and Heinz Baked Beans when on offer for my very fussy husband!!
Today i stocked up on free Always pads and cheap Pantene from the SSM coupons (£1 coupons and the large Pantene are BOGOF at the moment so £2.25 for 2 bottles)
Sorry I should have said, all of these items were from Tescos apart from Andrex toilet rolls (Amazon) and Cushelle (Coop)Nov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails)

How's this for spilling the beans?
One pound of dry beans yields about triple the amount as does 1 (15 ounce) can of beans? One pound of dry beans also costs about half as much as the 15 ounce can. That means you're getting about 6 times more beans for your buck if you opt for the dry beans.
An added benefit is that the dry beans don't contain bisphenol A (BPA). Most food cans are lined with BPA.
Here's an article I found regarding Heinz baked beans and other Heinz canned goods:
Heinz Admits Lining Its Cans With Endocrine-Disrupting 'Sex Chemical'

I started reading the Heinz admits article but gave up at the bit about aliens..
Waitrose still has 6 x 50cl bottles Evian 2 for £4 so I got half a trolleyful. I know it would be more MSE to drink tap water but I don't like it.0
