New body shop glitch!!!

Twice I've called them about these cards and grumbled that it's been a month or over a month since ordering. Twice I've been told I will have to wait as they are non-refundable and I would have to return the whole order for a refund. They offered to give me the numbers over the phone, but I don't think the number on a piece of paper is really a good thing to give as a gift (and I've missed the boat for gifting them twice now).
I don't know how those of you who got a refund managed it, but well done!
I'm in exactly the same position. They say they've sent 2 of 4 but I've received nothing and missed the gifting occasions x2 too :-(
My argument with them was failure to supply goods timeously and the fact that we were not given the option to return orders as we were unaware that the cards were out of stock, so a month on most of us have either gifted items or used them.
In reality I would not have returned the glitchy gift sets, but it's the principle of being dicked about by an outsourced customer service team who can barely string a sentence together.:mad:

You are spot on. I do not understand why these cards have to come from miles around the world. Why is it so hard for them to just drop them in the boxes during the packing process. I was thinking surely this must be against the principles of the Body Shop as the cards are being flown in from other countries. :think:0 -

I ordered a LYB card on 12th August. I've been waiting 35 days and counting.
After 2 weeks I sent an email asking where my card was. I received the following response the next day:
[FONT="]Our Love Your Body cards are shipped out separately from the main orders. Unfortunately at the time your LYB card was picked, it was unavailable. In the meantime, it has got back in stock and it has been dispatched so you should expect to receive your card within the next 10 days.
So I waited another 10 days, in fact I waited another 16 days but still no LYB card so on Wednesday I sent another message letting them know how annoyed I am. So far all I have received is the following automated response:
[/FONT]One of our Care Centre Team will respond within the next 72 hours.
And so far nothing else. Body Shop's customer service is terrible and it is a complete joke that they can't get their own reward cards out within a month. They really need to get their act together. I am inclined to tell them where to stick their LYB card. Wish I hadn't bothered to start shopping with them! :mad:0 -

I emailed them last Monday. I haven't had a reply. I was really polite and maybe that was the problem. But I've just emailed them again and said I don't find the wait acceptable, so lets see if they feel they want to respond this time. I mean, it's now 11 months membership and counting, as I bet they write the purchase date on them...

Yes, I used the online option and had a reply within 24 hours0

I made 1 order on 15th Aug and 2 orders on 16th Aug and have not received any cards.
I had to chase them up by email to get my missing gifts sets which did arrive eventually after I emailed 4 times about it.
I have emailed about the missing cards and was given a card number for 2 and a birthday gift voucher for 1. I claimed a free £5 birthday gift today by showing the staff assistant my email with my card number and the birthday gift certificate.
Just need to wait on the other 2 cards arriving so I can claim my other 2 free gifts in a few months.0 -
Just received one of my cards in the post with a Serbia stamp on it.
I can confirm that membership name has been left blank, DOB has been left blank and only the expiry date has been completed in ink.
That is 1 birthday gift collected today (above post) and I will collect another one with this card soon.0 -
I am still waiting for 5 LYB cards!! All from orders dated 18th/19th August, just phoned and have been told left over 20 days ago, they offered me the numbers over the phone, but thats no good, cannot see the store giving me a birthday gift from a number!! Somehow I dont think we will ever get them!!0

Received another card in this afternoon but I've already claimed by birthday gift for this card so wasn't really fussed if it came or not. Card came from serbia again but it has my husbands name written on it in ink and the expiry date. The DOB was blank. 1 card still to come but they are ignoring my emails again.0
