Hi all thanks for your comments.

I spoke to him last night, he called me a numpty for even worrying about it. He said he didn't care where we get married as long as we don't get in debt for it. Which I completely agree with. Were going to look at cheaper options closer to the time.

No, it's not, that is for England and Wales. It is legal to marry on beaches in Scotland. Many people have done so :T

your dad can go on the ferry or channel tunnel and away you go everyone wins
