Pink You may have got the looks in our family but my consolation is that I got the housework gene. :p;)

That did make me laugh! Re the ironing.....it seems we both got the 'I hate ironing' gene. Do you want me to send Mr Pink over to do yours for free? The downside is, you'd have to take the rest of them as well! :D

Topher, it's good to see you posting again...sorry you're having such a rough time.
patentgirl, I hope you're feeling a bit better today.
Catznine, I hope the anti-histamines kick in soon.
Bargain babe, I hope they get your dd sorted out soon...it must be terrible for her and for you.
Paulie's girl, Hugs, hopefully something will turn up soon. Dh was made redundant four years ago and it was really frightening time, but it turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to us. I went back to work after 14 years at home and found a job I loved that I can fit around my family.
    Mystery 07 and Uselesswith£, welcome!
Ccstar, It's good to hear you sounding more upbeat.

Ok I've faffed around on mse for long enough.......If any of you see me on here before 2 o'clock will you tell me to go and do something OS instead of reading about it!

    Take care all,

    Pink

    Hello again,

    Welcome useleswith£, and mystery07!!!

catzine - ive flown twice now with Virgin and they have been great both times. Im 5ft 8 1/2, and found the leg room to be fine, although its not that comfy on the way back when you want to sleep (my children take up all the room tho, so you might be fine). Im most jealous that you are going again - you will love discovery cove, it was the highlight of our holiday last year, we really want to go again. As someone else said, they provide breakfast and lunch, and all snacks and drinks during the day. Dont wear any jewellary or sun lotion, they make you take the jewellary off, and they give you animal friendly sun screen.

Paulies Girl - hope you find a new job soon, and the mortgage offer will be ok.

smokeybabe - hope OHs results will be ok xxx

Im sure there were others i was going to mention, but my brain has gone completely, so a general (HUG) to anyone who would like one xxx

Went to Mr Ts to take back my sweet potatoes, and then ended up spending £47!!!! Mind you, did get double the difference back on 2 books i bought (Casino Royale marked as £3.78 and charged £6.99, and Captain Underpants marked as £3.78 and charged £5.99) so had £11 back!!! Also picked up 2 boxes of cadbury cream egg ice creams reduced to £1 each, but on BOGOF so got both for £1, and the same with some salmon (£2 for the 2 boxes) and i picked up a lovely big piece of organic lamb reduced to £3.94, so i did well for what i spent.
LO is now back from nursery, but is absolutly shattered, so she is now having a nap on the sofa, whilst i have a quick browse on here. I have one more MS phone call to make, and then thats me done for the day i think!!!
Did have to pop down to the church earlier as well, when i got back from Mr Ts, found my 2 had left their sandwiches in the fridge, so i had to take them down to them - if they had been at school (they are doing their pratice for tonight) the school would feed them, but at the church there wouldnt be anything for them, so had to take them for them.

Right, better get moving, have no energy at all today, but it is so nice outside we will still walk to school later - im getting good when the weather is nice!!!
    Have a lovely afternoon,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Good morning everyone.

Smokybabe, I hope your husband gets to the GP today. ((HUGS))

I wanted to welcome mystery07 to the board. I know she's been reading but was too shy to post. Mystery, we're here to help. Just ask! And I doubt I'm speaking just for myself when I say that I muddle along as best I can and am certainly not as organised as I'd like to be!

Thank you Gingham Ribbon. Hi everyone, just on very short lunch break, but just enough time to say hi & hugs (cos everyone else seems to give them out :D )

Will call back later & post again

    Afternoon everyone!

Thought I'd pop in and say hi, not up to much today bar a little tidying up and counselling. It's my last appointment today and has done nothing to help whatsoever, urgh.

Might continue with my letter pile to get that down, not had much 'good' mail lately so perhaps if I drive my letter pile down, I'll get some... here's hoping eh? Anyone else a penpaller here?

Cooking a curry tonight... not sure what to do... whether to do a slow cooker/from scratch, but then there's a couple of jars smiling at me... I guess it depends how 'well' I'm feeling.... still exhausted and not done anything but eat my breakfast and feed the dog! eek. think it might be using a jar tonight then!!

OH is just switching on the oven for a couple of baguettes we're having for lunch... not sure what I'm going to have in mine... hmmm.

Hugs to those of you who need/want them and enjoy the sunshine those of you lucky enough to have gardens!!
