  • Hey all!

Welcome to Mystery07 and uselesswith£! (they're very nice here, I'm still fairly new and they're lovely to me :D)

I have a verbal offer of another job from the 2nd interview I went to week before last. :j 4k payrise and a shedload of training which will make me nice and secure. With a comany in the Times Top 20 Employers. :p I have landed on my feet. It happened 4:40 on Friday night, and I was sure I'd posted it, but my leaky brain was filled with champagne, so I might not have done :embarasse :o

So..... please forgive me if I didn't post it (I'm sure I remember people jumping up and down for me though... Possibly more tipsy delisions...)

Scuzz and moggins - go girls!!!! Its sooooo sweet!!!! :T

    Love and hugs

    PG xx

    Oh my goodness

If only you could hear the noise here. DD (2) has her first pair of tap shoes! It was quite cute at 1 o'clock, now I'm not so sure.

Thank goodness we have the dentist in 1/2 an hour.

Need to get cooking. Bacon and potato hotpot (courtesy of Pauper's cookbook for dinner) was supposed to be chicken kiev but I can't face faffing with garlic butter and breadcrumbs etc. So the chicken will wait for another day. Not cancelled, just postponed.

Have started sorting my wardrobe. Not throwing anything away (yet), just putting into storage ALL the things that don't fit me at the moment. Have found some stuff which brings back memories (memories of being a size 8 lol)

    Love the pics Kyle.

    Hi everyone

Hope Tuesday is good for all. (It is Tuesday isn't it?!) Oops. Feeling a bit dazed today. I only have 3 (and a bit) days left in my job and I can't wait to finish now, this office is mad. I am fed up with people that are unhappy and are lucky enough to have job offers elsewhere but won't do anything about it because what would they have to moan about then?! Sorry, I am ranting.

It's brightened up here, much nicer weather than this morning. Looking forward to going home for a lighter evening. I can't wait for summer.

Kyle - Where you live looks beautiful!

Paulie'sGirl - Well done!! When do you start?

Scuzz - He sent chocolates?! Were they yummm? I like him :D

    Hugs x x x

I've not even had time to read the daily yet:eek: Busy painting down at church this morning and playing catch-up at home this afternoon.

Dinner will be oven chips and whatever else I can lay hands on. LOL

Hope y'all are well and happy

    Hiya all :D

I've just skimmed the thread so far, will have a proper read later, Welcome Mystery07 and uselesswith£, Brilliant news Paulie's Girl :T

They are out and about! Ooooh I was so excited I took a days holiday so I could watch! little cootlings bobbing about on the canal after Mum and Dad.

There are plant boxes fixed to the canal side and Mum lead them along them to a new nest Dad furiously built. I felt so sorry for him I chucked in some dried grasses out of my bog-garden-in-a-pot. He seemed very grateful.

After a bit and possibly after a bit of bother with a wood pigeon, Mum led them back to the original nest (which Dad had quickly redecorated) and for the last few yards they all plopped into the canal and swam along behind her!!!! They have little wing buds now and flap them like crazy to keep their balance. :A

I have photos, poor quality but I will see what I can do and i[STRIKE]nflict [/STRIKE] share one with you later.

Mum loved her leftovers corn cake thing (so did Dad) so maybe I'll have corn again this evening, (any excuse, I love it). They are working so hard to keep those little ones going, it is amazing to watch.

And yes, the only reason I'm posting is because they are currently tucked up under Mum snoring their little heads (and fat tummies) off after their "big adventure".

    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
