    Hello all,

Well as you can see I am at home. Got to work and then had phonecall off OH and he had seen the GP who had sent him to hosi for some blood tests. He does't know whether or not he has had an angina attack or a small silent heart attack (this sounds ever so familiar again!!!) Apparently the tests will tell if something happened yesterday as it is more than 12 hours on and some enzyme levels to do with the heart will be elevated if it has. I got upset and so I was sent home.

He is signed off work again and depending on the results may well be back in hosi tonight as the GP said if it was a heart attack he would admit him. So we wait.

To be fair he looks a lot better today but his pulse was still rapid this morning and I made him go to the GP, I believe he argued the toss with the GP over being off work but he told him in no uncertain terms that he could't pay any bills if he was dead!

Men........... He is far more important than a few flaming quid owing to the bank but he doesn't see this.

Anyway I will keep you all updated.

    Smoky. xx

    Morning all.

Huge hugs to ((((Csarina, Snowy, Smokey's DH, Mrs Mix, penny pincher, Topher, paulie's Girl and Kyle))))

Glad your date went well Moggins

    Welcome Mystery07. don't be shy.:D

i have a shameful secret to tell you all but please keep it to yourselves.:shhh:

I am sitting her watching my friend do all my ironing. :o She used to do it for me when I was working and I made an emergency mercy call to her last night as i can't get on top of it just now. So I will pay to have it done as a one off and boy does it feel good. :D I hope my secret's safe with you. ;)

Having that done will spur me on to clear out the wardrobes as Spring has definitely sprung and my DDs trousers are all at half mast and tops are all cropped as they've grown so much so I need a big clear out. need to get ebaying but I said that last year and the bag is still under my bed.:o

Loft is being insulated today so another excuse for a clearout there.

Pink You may have got the looks in our family but my consolation is that I got the housework gene. :p;)

    Have a lovely day everyone.

    Haribo x

    Morning :hello:

Feeling very :j :j this morning as the weather is so lovely :) Shame I am stuck at w**k all day, but hey. At least now the clocks have gone forward I will be able to walk both to and from my office each day, unless I am going out in the evening. Am hoping this will give me more energy, speed up my metabolism and help me lose a stone or so without having to do any "formal" exercise. It's about 2.5 miles each way. I think it might be more effective in the weight loss stakes if the morning leg of the commute did not pass directly by the best bacon sandwich caff in South London :o:D

I am supposed to be going out this evening, in fact, but think I will give it a miss. Basically I have a ticket to an opera concert tonight which I booked over a YEAR ago, which was supposed to have an all star cast. A couple of weeks ago I received an email saying that two of the original singers had pulled out and were going to be replaced by people I had never heard of, which was a shame, but didn't bother me too much. THEN yesterday I received ANOTHER email saying that the main star had come down with laryngitis and would also no longer be singing. She is one of my favourite singers and was the main reason I shelled out for a front row seat. Luckily they are now offering full refunds to anybody who wants one, and TBH I could really do with an evening at home! I have better things to do with £25 than go to a concert I have changed my mind about.

csarina/Paulie'sGirl/Topher/kyle/smokybabe/bargain babe/mrs_mix (and anybody I've missed out) - ((((hugs)))) hope all works out soon
mystery07 - come on, we won't bite :D (to all who don't visit the MS Arms much, mystery07 is a young single mum who is doing a fab job but feeling a bit lonely. We suggested she came over here for some company but she's a bit shy :D)
Well done Hardup Hester on getting it sorted :j :j
Quasar - sounds like you were near me yesterday! My office is on the south side of Southwark Bridge.

Lunch: soup (not sure what sort, it's either sweet potato or yellow pepper, colour is very similar - think it's sweet potato as to the best of my knowledge I've run out of the yellow pepper one! :o)
Dinner: posh bangers (beef & onion  ) with non OS oven chips and peas :D

Must be off, work is calling

    Rzl xx

    Morning all,

Scuzz- I wondered about Dean Gaffney - he's not a good looker but he appears to have the gift of the gab - or is he a genuinely nice bloke? Your job sounds ace, I wish mine was better - I always wanted to be the presenter on Playschool and ended up a nursery nurse in the school nursery! Oh well, can't have everything can you!!

    bbxx

He did seem like a nice guy. Shorter than I thought he would be though!! My job really isn't as exciting as it sounds. I was up at 4am yesterday and got to bed at 12.30am this morning to be back up at 4!!!!

Morning all. I have read the thread, but it was over an hour ago, so can't remember who is feeling rubbish. I did read yesterday's thread - Go Moggins! :heartpuls
    Also welcome to mystery07

Please excuse my rubbish typing - I managed to shut my finger in the car door on Sunday, so it's all strapped up, 4 times as big as it should be and a delightful shade of blue/black/purple. Yes, it hurt. lots.

Salmon with noodles/stirfry tonight for dinner, lunch will be leftover casserole from Sunday night.

Have a lovely day, time for me to crack on with some work I suppose.
    see ya x

Big hugs to everyone who needs one today!

I'm full of the joys of spring this morning - had a lovely weekend with bf and both girls away with their dad. Great to get a bit of respite from their overflowing hormones! Back to earth today, though.

    Have a great day, everyone.

    Slept better

Cold here - got a haar which is annoying - we even get them in the summer

Done a load of washing, collecting stuff for blue bin - paper/plastics for collection tomorrow.

Car is likely to be in a couple of weeks:(

Nothing new to report on the house - my agent is on holiday till next week which is annoying

So much time is taken by effing waiting:(

Taking it easy till Thursday and the manic clean, unless a viewing before.

Big hugs to anyone who needs them:)
