I have 20g of porridge oats cooked with water for breakfast (76 cal ish) then lunch of salad plus a slice of smoked venison or similar or low cal soup, with a veg meal plus white fish or an egg in the evening. I also have 100g of strawberries if feeling peckish around 5pm (27cal).
Am heartily sick of fasting at the moment so have decided I've finished until 2014. It was a fast day for me too today. Can't say I am getting anywhere fast though weight wise, but I'm stuck with the habit now. Health wise though, I see changes for the better, so feeling quite pleased with that. Maybe I'll do better with the weight loss after Christmas -I can hope anyway:)Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

fast diet/5:2 website here, quite a bit of info on there.
i can't comment on any specific medical benefits as i wasn't tested for anything before i started, but i do know that i'm losing weight differently than to any other time. internal (visceral?) fat is definitely going 1st & my body is definitely a different shape. have so much more energy & am sleeping better too.0 -
Ok, thanks. And thanks for the link, too.0

Fast day for me today. I normally split my meals into 2 but today managed to last to have all my calories in one meal. Not really sure it makes much difference to how I feel but not sure I'd be able to cope if I was at work and could smell everyone else's food!0

I seem to have stayed the same weight last week and gone up this week, so not sure what's going on. I am doing 4:3 and haven't been overdoing it on non fast days. I'll keep going though because I don't want to put the weight I've lost back on over Christmas.0

have you been drinking plenty? often seems to be a reason if you can't think of anything else. hang in there, our bodies can be a bit peculiar sometimes!0 -

Do you do any other kind of measurements as well?
Fast day for me today. I'm saving all my calories up for my evening meal today. I think it will be tofu and veg stir fry with zero noodles. I can't wait!0 -
