Fast day for me today and later am going to make up a batch of cabbage curry can't waitFollowing horizon 5-2 started 28/01/13 target where I am now ish
Maintaining now as DW doesn't want my legs to get any skinnier

i'm fasting today too. Went out at the weekend and bought size 12 trousers :T
I tend to fast all day long and just have something in the evening. At the moment I like a meaty soup which I add a few peas to so it's more like a stew.
Out for a Christmas dinner on Thursday and a buffet at work on Friday so will fast again on Wed then Sat.
(yup, am still doing 3 days, can't get out of the habit!)Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
Do you go all day with nothing, or have a meal at night on the day of your fast?0

fast day for me too, quite look forward to Mon/Tues without having to think about food. i find it easier to just have 1 meal in the evening & plenty to drink, if i have anything earlier in the day, it just makes me hungry for the whole day.
instead of my usual mediterranean type chicken casserole i've done one flavoured with baharat spices (middle eastern), really looking forward to it already!
think i'll try & do 4:3 again this week, have done it for the past 2 weeks as my final push towards xmas, & managed to lose 9lbs!0 -

Eating my full 500 calories in one "lump" left me feeling really hungry later and eating earlier in the day just left me hungry all day. However some people find that waiting so long until their first food of the day leaves them feeling light-headed and have 3 small meals.
Whatever is easiest for you.

I either have a very small breakfast around 100 Calories and a large evening meal or a luch of about 75 Calories and a largish evening meal. Occasionaly I keep all my cals for the evening meal. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

... and do any of you fasters combine this with a bit of the Paleo (ie, low-carb) diet/lifestyle?0

I eat a balance of carbs, protein and veg from various sources, about as far from paleo as you like. Everyone has to find what works for themselves though. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
