You can't compare competing power lifters with people who regularly train with weights, two completely different animals! You of all people should know that!

Weighed in and a bit miffed to find I've put 1lb back on :( Been quite good too, I think a bag of Maltesers was the naughtiest I got last week. I know it could be worse but still, could have been better! :o

I just downloaded this free kindle book

"The IF Diet" by Robert Skinner. Don't know if it's any good, but it's free so worth a look.

After my trial fast last Wednesday, I am looking forward to my first full week. Monday and Thursday. Have a happy, healthy week everyone :)

Decided to not fast tomorrow and do Tuesday instead, not really much fun having a picnic if I'm fasting :)
Hopefully no weight gain this week .

  • End of the week and only managed one day! Feel so depressed about it but I suppose one is better than none and twill ry to fit in 3 alternate days this week to make up for it.

    Hi

Well I am up a pound and then down, then up, then down....maybe I have reached my correct weight. I have lost almost a stone since April and am within the suggested weight for my age and height. It is hard for me to decide on a target weight but have not been this weight since I was about 10:eek: So guess this is it:T

Regarding leaving all my calories until the end of the day, I can do it no problem, however, if I ate a little for brekki and lunch and next to nothing for dinner, I would not be able to do it. I need a big dinner and the wait is worth it. But we are all different.

I still feel big around my middle so maybe there are a few more pounds to go so I will stick at it, but am happy with what I have lost so far. Well done all:T

Don't beat yourself up about it, we've all been there. I don't think we'd be human if we didn't have a dip now and then :)

Monday and Friday's usually a fast day for me but I'm at home today with it being bank hols and i'm off on Friday too, so I think tomorrow and thurs for me this week.

I really need to get back in the habit of planning my fast day meals, I'm starting to slip back in to the 'oh i'll just have eggs with something' routine :o
  • Back to fasting today after a week off...not through choice but my back problems flared up again and I've been in a painkiller haze since Tuesday. I've been stuck in the house and eating all kinds of comfort food to make myself feel better so I'm looking forward to getting back to it today!
