Weighed myself this morning after fasting yesterday and I stayed the same. This is quite unusual and usually I'm at least 1lb lighter. I'm thinking I've probably just evened out as I had a weekend full of eating unhealthily. So at least I've not gained!

Thursday is my 'official' weigh in day so will fast tomorrow and hopefully that'll keep me on track!

    Good luck everyone fasting today!

I'm fasting today - anyone else?

tesuhoha that must be frustrating. I expect you've tried M&S? They seem to have generous sizes?
You've done really well though haven't you :D
I think I'll carry on with 5:2 for a couple of weeks and then go to 6:1

I am also fasting after a fortnight of just calorie counting to get used to my new lower intake needs. Still managed 3.5 lbs loss over the last 3 weeks.

Strangely enough I had a moment's euphoria last month when I tried on a pair of size 10 trousers in M&S and they felt loose. This was almost immediately dispelled by a sigh when I held them up to the snug fitting size 12s I tried on next. The size 10s were actually bigger round the waist than the size 12s!

Having said that, I don't go for old ladies stuff but straight fitting jeans such as Per Una. Onwards and upwards.

    Here we go!

I have just started fasting this week.
SO far today I have survived on black coffee- I'm off work for a few weeks- not sure if that's harder or easier as I have the temptation of the kitchen nearby! Luckily, no food shopping this week so it's working out well! I like the idea of saving my 500 cals but must say I am feeling very lethargic (or could that be the 3 glasses of wine last night)!

Best of luck everyone, 20lbs to go for me- hope to be acheived by New Year!

    Hello

Another one jumping on the wagon. I've just had my second fast day, and have to say that it's been interesting.

First fast was on Monday, and that really was tough. I stuck it out not eating until dinner, but I did feel awful. Really headachy and strangely emotional.

Second fast, not a bother, very little hunger and didn't eat until late, mostly because that half bag of prawns that I'd earmarked for dinner was still in the freezer :D I even managed to watch Masterchef without drooling.

Anyway off to see what I've missed on the rest of this thread.
