So, I know this type of thread has been around before, but I'm in the mood to be nosy (and also need advice if my outgoings sound high or unusual or anything - they shocked me to be honest).
OBV please state no. of people and house size.

Council Tax £80
Electricity £80 (used to be £30 before the price hike
)

Mobile £30
Home Insurance £16

I haven't included food (as it is so different for different people) or other petrol or toiletries or clothes, just bills.
What do people think?

Thanks for all the answers, it's really helpful to see other people's figures.
Do you think £53 a month is a lot for water then? We already have a meter, although they haven't been to read it for some time - maybe I need to submit a reading!
Nope, nothing dodgy going on at mine re that usage of gas and electricity! But it seems high compared to all yours, esp considering I'm out all day. Better look into it.0 -

The cost of water does seem high for one person. There's 2 of us, bath/shower every day, washing machine on about 4 times a week, dishwasher on every other day, water the garden when necessary (when none left in water butt) and our monthly payment is just under £30.
It might help to look at the threads in the water forum.0 -
