I've hung out the washing I did last night (rain keeping away so far) and another load is in. VERY lazy start to the day as DD is poorly and being a bit pathetic & requiring the occasional cuddle - she's 15 so I'm making the most of it :D

    Oh, belt up, bossy!
No, don't belt up, Bossy. We're here for you if you need us to lean on when you get the paperwork.:o

Lounge/hall day here again (gosh, it comes round quick, doesn't it?) and once more, I'll have to dust round the large dragons.:( Extras-wise, the ironing is all done (Sunday, by Mr LW:A), I don't have any houseplants, and I'm putting cushion cover and throw washing on hold til Jessie's gone home, because if moulting was an Olympic sport, she'd be a dead cert for Gold! She's not allowed on the furniture (we go with whatever the dogs are allowed to do at home) but still the hair finds its way everywhere.:D If I wash the throw today (even if I could lift it into the machine unaided, which I can't) it'd be covered with dog hair again by this time tomorrow. *rolls eyes* Jessie is lovely though, and dog hair is what I refer to as "clean dirt" iyswim, so I don't mind.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Good morning :D

1 load of washing on line, and 2nd in WM.
Quote for home insurance done, dog having a haircut, DH put DD1's bookcase in car to take to her in Ipswich. I have cancelled my sight test, as i have a sit & wait appointment at the dentist. I have a loose filling, and we fly to USA on Friday, so I want it sorted. I had to tell them I was in pain :o and I hate lying - I find it so difficult :( Not looking forward to it.

I need to order the kids' currency, so i can pick it all up tomorrow.

I haven't even looked at todays list! Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them.

Well, Bonnie, I should get a Gold Medal in lying - as I am going to state, here and now, my six pack looks great in my gym bra and knickers!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ionafan and Dustykitten - you've brought memories back! At school we had to wear different knickers for gym! We had to have big, thick navy bloomers for everyday, but for gym we had to have white airtex (remember them?) under quite nice navy 'skirt/shorts' that we're quite shapely. I was only about a size 10/12 so looked ok in them. Wish I was that size now!

Flying, well, had to fly as a friend came for coffee at 10.30 so tidied kitchen after brekkie, OH did DW, and dusted round, S&S bathroom and mopped kitchen and conservatory floors, so got a move on! She's just gone so OH doing a quick lunch, while I watch the last bit of the triathlon, and I leave for work in about 45 mins.

Good vibes to everyone and good health wishes too. Hi again to all the newbies too. X
  • Jaybee - you have my sympathy. I have such an irrational fear of a certain creepy crawly in the garden that I can't even type the word. It sounds silly to anyone who doesn't, but that heart-racing terror is awful. Usually you only get one mouse in, so I truly hope that is the last you will see of the little critters.

You take care and relax now. Love R x
