    Morning all.

Don't know how much flying I'll get done today - I shall probably go out on the second job this evening after work - particularly if the weather's like it is now (grey and overcast - people tend to be out when the sun's shining!). But I shall get *something* done even if it's just clear a hotspot.

Also looking like a quite day at the full-time job so that means there be more overtime :D

    Morning all.

Well I have Health Visitor coming today for Hollys development 2 year check up so my flying has been in overdrive.

My bathroom and kitchen are cleaned as routine now with the swish and swipe every morning and night

Holly's room was done Thursday. Just need to open her window to air the room and empty her bin.

My bedroom was blitzed on Friday all that needs doing today is the bed stripped and remade and the window open to air. I may clean out my terrapins though too before she arrives.

    Ben's room was finished yesterday.

I swept through all rooms yesterday - after my hoover decided to lose its suction power! but have discovered that a dust pan brush works quite well

Also stairs and landing were done and de-cluttered yesterday too so I literally have to go around clearing up piles of brushed up rubbish.

Last room to do today is the living room.

So my list for today BEFORE 11am is
    - strip my bed
    - make my bed
    - make kids beds
    - clean out terrapins
    - dress kids
    - dress myself

    - brush and mop bathroom, kitchen and living room floor (all one level, straight through jobber)
    - breakfast dishes
    - dejunk living room
    - neaten up toys in living room

if I manage it and its not raining - tidy up the back garden as I can see it from my kitchen slightly and there is junk there - or at least move it so its not so junky looking.

And to top it off I have the added awkwardness of Owen - who spent half of yesterday evening in A&E because he smashed his fingers between two 27kg weights at the gym - result one broken finger - although the way he's carrying on you'd think he'd had an arm amputation. ;)

Right off to finish my tea and get my backside in gear. Cant realistically mop floors downstairs until last minute so will start checking off the rest of the list.

    EDITED TO ADD!
    Just re-evaluated my lists
    RED are upstairs jobs
    BLUE are downstairs jobs

So Im heading off upstairs now to get babe up and will pop her in the living room with a bottle and a cuddle with her big brother watching cbeebies and then run upstairs and finish my list for upstairs.
    Time to find me again

    >This week you are required to wear athletics gear: aka crop top & knickers

In that case, bonnie_bumpkins, I will keep the curtains closed while I'm flying, so that nobody can see me! Not a pretty sight!

When I went to the grammar school at age 11 (over half a centruy ago!) we had to have tailored shorts for games. On the first day, the PE mistress made us all kneel on the floor of the school hall - I still remember how hard the parquet blocks were - and keep our backs up very straight while she went round and measured. Anyone with "shorts" more than 3 fingers' width from the ground (she was a Girl Guide leader) was told to take them back to the shop and get a larger size. Mine were OK, but they still fitted me 7 years later when I finished school. Very MSE, but how I hated them! And the green knickers for gym were even worse...

DS1 rang me yesterday evening and I jumped up, thinking the baby had made its appearance - but no. He rang just to say that he and DGD have had tonsillitis, so we are hoping that DiL will not catch it too. She'll be needing all her strength very soon.

I went for gold yesterday and just made it. Can I do the same today, I wonder?

(((Hugs))) and GWS wishes to anyone who needs them today, especially those trying to cope with the BD.

    Morning all

I'm in again - late this week but couldn't resist the thought of prancing about in crop top and knickers, bonnie! Sadly I don't have the six- pack but I'm working on it :rotfl:

Hi to all the newbies and belated happy birthday to everyone who shared with me - there seem to have been a few of us over the weekend.

I feel like I'm getting further and further behind after all my plans to use the holidays to catch up/get ahead. Very concious that we're nearly half way through and we're away next week so will be doing lots off-list this week as well as as much as I can manage from the lists - I will start September with an organised house!

Better make a start by getting dressed I suppose :o. Will post lists later.

I am NEVER having children... the last 2 nights a certain insomniac baby was up from 1:30-4 and last night she decided 6am was a good time to get up after not going down until 10pm... If she had been first she would have been last!!! (Same as DD1)

Anyway.. small baby fed, DS3 sorted, Tiddles told off twice already (not flushing the loo she had overstuffed with loo roll and playing in the sink) so, I shall go build a list.. and as I did nothing this week I shall shift my large behind and get something done.
