Well I haven't really done anything from today's list except for a quick dust in the living room...

... but I have so far done:
    3 x loads of washing
cleaned out guinea pigs cages and hoovered "their" room (inc blocking hoover pipe with hay & unblocking again)
    Dusted & hoovered our bedroom
    Washed bathroom floor
and taken 3 bags to the charity shop

    I'm pooped!!

I was going for Gold yesterday, but was disqualified during the Countback for failing to complete the 'Clear Hotspots' and 'Wipe the sides' elements. Sigh.

Today I have failed to start. Apparently I've been eliminated from this competition and been sent home for not trying.
    Better is good enough.

Jaybee - you have my sympathy. I have such an irrational fear of a certain creepy crawly in the garden that I can't even type the word. It sounds silly to anyone who doesn't, but that heart-racing terror is awful. Usually you only get one mouse in, so I truly hope that is the last you will see of the little critters.

You take care and relax now. Love R x

Thank you so much - I totally understand your feelings. Thank you especially for saying that you usually only get one mouse in. Everyone else has been telling me 'there's never only one'. . .

In my cropped top (more industrial strength bra really) and knickers both of which are amply covered by a baggy teeshirt over my 12-pack I have this afternoon:
    Made cake
    Chased up payment
    Gathered some bits for ebay
Helped neighbour to fix her grandbaby's seat in the car - how complicated was that?!

Well, I am now officially 'sick' and will not be entering the office for the next three weeks - I am going to structure some of my time towards doing some flying, but am struggling with too many thoughts at the moment to be in with the certainty of a medal on any day I'm afraid.

I have managed over an hour on the ironing mountain today - whilst exhausting myself watching the triathlon.

Mr B's "weekend" finishes tonight, so I need to find some structure for myself for the next few days.

Next job, walk Mrs Dog whilst sending off some "return to sender" mail.

Thanks for cheering me up with all your posts.

My progress with the lists is apalling. I know I'm having to keep 3 children entertained as well but surely they should be able to manage to do that themselves at least some of the time? I have over the last 2 days gone through their wardrobes and have them try on every single item of clothing in there (!) and in the process filled 2 charity bags but I have a pile for ebaying, another pile to offer a friend and I still need to go through the clothes in the loft and make lists of what's needed, especially uniform, so that we can get the shopping done before the mad rush in the last week. No idea when I'll fit that in. I also wanted during the hols to finish sorting the garden, sort through everything else in the loft, get the house thoroughly cleaned and have more days out with the kids than we have so far. There aren't enough hours in the day  And I haven't even started packing for camping next week...

Sorry for the rant - just having one of those days when my life feels like an endless cycle of cleaning, tidying, cooking, washing, refereeing arguments, managing behaviour issues, etc. I shouldn't complain - I know there's plenty of you with lots more cause for complaint than me and come September I'll be moaning about going back to work and wishing the holiday was longer :o

    Hello Honey Bear

I am also a non-starter today. I did really well yesterday but today I was so tired when I got up that I haven't managed to get going properly. Tbh the house still looks clean and tidy (not sure about the tops of the doors, though!) so perhaps I am not so motivated as I might be if it were a tip! I even went to sleep on the sofa for a couple of hours :o but it has made me feel better. And I have finished the baby's cardigan and wrapped it up, so that it's ready for whenever we get the phonecall.

We are fortunate that flying is not a competition, so we cannot be eliminated. I will just delete the list for today and start again tomorrow with a clean slate tomorrow. Hope you'll join me. :)
