Mrs_B I hope you get better soon - please, don't too much when you're supposed to be off sick.

Well, a busy day a few more overtime hours racked up :D No evening work though as I had to declutter NN's stress (NN for those not in the know is "Nice Neighbour").

Got home to find a "situation" in the street caused by her upstairs "not all there" neighbour. I calmed NN down in her home and then talked to NSNN (not so nice neighbour!) and the Third-Party (TP) he had conjoured from somewhere to do something which is totally illegal. The TP disappeared quite quickly once he found the true score and the status quo was resumed.

But it all took a while... and I've ended emailing the police about the situation for advice. I am now going to think about cooking dinner!

Dusty - I've had "I hate you" and "I wish you weren't my mum" this afternoon - maybe its the weather or hormones!! I made my DD stand on the front doorstep and then I locked the front door - she wasn't allowed back in until she had apologised for her actions and comments.

No flying has been done here - earlier we went to see Ice Age 4 - entertaining for a while [spoilt by DD when we got home]

I did do lots of ironing this morning and I've managed to do WM x 2

been flying at work - getting display boards ready (jobshare) and backing art (me) and me showing her where resources are - I will NOT have her look like she hasn't been properly briefed as to location of stuff and policies etc. Last new person knew nothing - because WE all thought the head had done it - apparently not.
Got there to find building unlocked - door protected by code only; code known by children

Have emptied middle cabinet ready to relocate into LR while we decorate DR - need help to move it and DS has worn himeself out playing football.

Hope she is calmer now. This wasn't a child though, they are easier to reprimand.

LR looking lovely and nobody here to mess it up until the morning.

Crikey, has the whole world got a cobb on today? That's Yorkshire speak for in a mood lol. Sounds like a few of you have been on the receiving end...

Well, I've been speaking to MIL about what jobs I had to do when I got home, and basically she's given me a good talking to. Apparently I can't keep up this constant stream of activity, there is nothing wrong with the house (it's immaculate apparently) and I need to slow down. I don't need to keep filling my time with chores, to avoid you know what. Because it ain't going away.

She's right of course, and I love her to bits for pointing it out. As such, I'm consigning myself to bronze contender for the rest of this month. Or I'll try to. A bit of pottering is allowed, but I'm banning myself from any more big decorating jobs, or anything that requires more than 30min commitment.

I did finish building my cabinet though, it looks fab! Hurrah!
