Dusty - not nice person needs to know the power of the Flyladies is with you - try not to expend too much thinking energies on them.
I am going to make a cuppa if anyone wants to join me, then I'm going to synch my PDA, blow the cobwebs off my Toots list and then see what needs adding or deleting. Then going to loosely set myself some targets, which may mean they will not quite achieve any medals!
I have unloaded the DW and done some of the washing up that needs doing by hand that is gathering. And I've taken some bacon out of the freezer in case I feel like making a quiche later.Work is not my Hobby0 -

Bad day today already.
Started as usual, doing little bits then resting, do a bit more, and so on. It's Bathroom Day on Wednesday, btw.
09:20, I get a phone call - Mr LW is poorly, and is coming home.
Cue me dashing round like mad to get the bathroom DONE and SPARKLING in the hour it'll take him to get home. This normally takes me til gone lunchtime at least.
Am now aching, sore, exhausted, and have wrenched my damn shoulder good and proper again.
*cries*If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hope you both rest up today and feel better soon xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Morning!
After my little rant yesterday I felt well and truly pathetic - which motivated me to scrub the bin, clear a couple of hotspots and hoover through downstairs in between prepping and cooking dinner. I then popped out to help a friend out for a couple of hours so not much more done but it's a start.
And I have a plan for today - kids happily occupied with craft stuff for now so going to aim to complete all bronze level tasks for the week so far followed by one of my off-list tasks. Will then re-evaluate what I do with the rest of the day depending on time, children, etc.
Hugs/spoons/sticks to everyone in need - especially dusty, bossy and lamewolf. And :T to those of you managing to get lots of flying done - any motivation/kicks up the backside/stop-getting-stressed-at-the-kids vibes gratefully received here please!0 -
Morning all
been to my mums with two washloads - I really MUST ring the washing machine repair man and see if it is repairable...
anyway she has almost the same WM as me - she knew her dawer needed cleaning but she said she was wary of pulling it out (it has to be pulled out and it does sound as though it will snap) so I pulled it out and cleaned it then had the GENIUS idea of telling her, if mine is going to the scrappers I will save the drawer and she'll have a spare!
Unit from DR with expensive glassware and antiques in (both of 'em :rotfl:) now in LR so all fragile stuff safe while we decorate.

LW... Silly thing.. as if Mr LW would expect you to tire yourself out because he was coming home early.. you know he will be telling you off now! Go rest and you are banned from doing anything except your brain training and maybe a few bits of cross stitch for at least the rest of the day!
Recycling out
DW on
