Well that was a short-lived craft session! Although just long enough for me to finish all 3 bronze levels :j. Going off list for a little while now but still hoping to complete a few more tasks later today if all goes to plan (not that it usually does...!)
Children now happily playing outside. I feel awful saying this but it's soooo much easier when DS1 isn't here :( I wouldn't be without him but he's on the verge of being diagnosed with an ASD and the holidays can be difficult to say the least. Thankfully a family member has taken him out for the day today so we get a bit of respite and hopefully will all feel refreshed and better able to cope tomorrow :o
Anyway, making the most of it, off I go again...

LameWolf - consider yourself ticked off by Mrs B. Everything you have ever said about Mr LW means that we know (a) you keep your house in good order to start with and (b) Mr LW would be mortified to think you had knocked yourself up rushing around to do the job in half the time. Anyway, you need to save your energies to nurse Mr LW back to good health - hope it's nothing too bad.

I have now produced a Mrs B List, so need to work out what I will realistically manage before taking the dogs training later. The bonus is that as it's a general list I can now use the basic template every day.

The window cleaner has just been, so now I know just how cross Mr Dog is when he comes. :embarasse

    Oh my!

Not only do I have to mentally separate BOSSY and BONNIE I now have to accept that Mrs_B and Mrs_Bee are two separate entities!

Mrs Bee.. it is so much easier in here without either DS3 or DD3.. they are horrible together and just nasty .. it is so much nicer when just 1 of them is out

I am now going to construct a list.. I have received OH's christmas present (Smallville box set.. he liked watching it before and hasn't been able to see it since he moved here and is signal to the relevant tv channel was intermittent at best at his former gaff.. so hopefully he will like it) I keep eyeing up Ipads for him but he is a nightmare with his lappy and phone so I am refusing to allow myself to spend that stupid amount on him.. I need a new phone first.. mine if dead.. the HD is almost broken.

    right.. list..

    Hello x

Am not at work - left early yesterday as felt sooo grim; think I must have a virus....felt so rough I phoned friend to ask her to adopt son and budgie if I died in the night :o I am such a drama queen. I'm mental all the time, just can't be doing physical too

Glad to say am still alive and feeling marginally better now. I've come to the conclusion that there is a gremlin somewhere who feels threatened when I start to get organised as every time I try life gets worse instead of better. Reading this thread makes me think my gremlin is not unique but has relatives throughout the UK trying to de-rail flyladies by whatever means possible. Well if I remember correctly the smurfs always outsmarted the bad guy in the end; so although I am temporarily derailed as I haven't got the energy to get up I am not going to give up totally, which is what usually happens. (Have to say I'm a bit scared at what the gemlin might throw up next as a challenge though- as someone on here said earlier life can get worse )

So hugs, spoons, sticks and healing vibes to all who needs them from a poorly-sick-feeling-sorry-for-myself Roundtuit.

Ooo but I did make a dentists's appointment before the gremlin struck...smurfish chuckle.

    xx

Been busy and have cut back all the front hedges, just waiting on PIL to finish the slurry and then i can get into the shed with the mower.

Boys bedroom is looking fab after 2 big boxes of toys have been took out. I can actually see all the carpet...:j:j:j

Plan now is more washing, get the dw emptied and reloaded. I'll give the kitchen a quick going over too.

LW big hugs i hope it's nothing too serious for MR LW and you both get a chance to rest today. xx
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Hi all and thanks for the hugs.

Got packed and ready to go to work (via nursery) then postie arrived with the medical notes. Knocked me off kilter even though I was expecting them. Decluttered children to nursery and decided to work from home today. Of course that means in between unpacking and reading the notes.

I think we can safely say I haven't hid from it today. Confronted head on, in spectacular use-a-box-full-of-tissues style. Am a little surprised at the early notes, seems there were some suspicions even though they reassured us they couldn't see anything. Not that it makes a difference. Oh, and histology report has him down as a 335 year old male...

All in all, it's what I expected, just reading the consent to palliative care forms I had to sign - transported me back to November, including the shaking hands.

I know it's for the best to deal with it, but it hurts :-( More tea, I think... No flying today, just made my bed and that's it. It's fine.

LW I hope you and Mr LW are ok, has the doc got back to you yet?
