Bossy no, still waiting for a call.:( I'm trying to hope it's not anything serious; I'm a terrible worrier and always assume the worst. And in view of the ...er... nature of the problem, I really wanted to get the bathroom done and sparkly before he got home.
Aww but sweetie, it must be so hard for you, reliving what happened.:( If you want to offload any time and feel that the thread is a tad too public, my pm box is always open for you.

Wolfie - hoping Mr. Wolf is not too bad - don't bear the burden alone - the ARE flyladies who will provide a shoulder - real OR cyber - should you need one.

Bossy - that must be so hard to read...and no doubt lots of emotions will be stirred.(((hugs))) and, as with Wolfie - there are spare, strong shoulders a-plenty here.

Been to collect washing, now pegged out.

    Cheers guys.

Dr has just called and Mr LW has spoken to him. Prime suspect at this juncture is haemorrhoids (sp)? This particular possibility didn't occur to me, I have to admit.

We have to give it a couple of days to see if it clears up, keep his fluids up, and if he's no better he may have to have some tests done.

He's due for a fasting blood test Tuesday morning in any case, ironically; I have to go along with him, for my steroid injection!

Huge hugs to you Bossy, the pain must be immense. Be kind to yourself sweetie, hug those little moos tight tonight.

LW sit with Mr LW for the rest of the day. You have both done the sensible thing and been proactive.

Food shop done. Just going to make the phone call that I have to and don't want to but stewing is no good and then a good friend and her son are coming later for a cuppa.

  • Hello :)

Hope you don't mind me posting.

I used to fly some years ago, I was a SAH mum of two and used to fly with a certain amount of ease.....

New life, with additional little 2 yrs DS along with my two teenagers and work term time, nearly full time, arriving home by just after 4pm.

I've dusted off my old flying folder, made new lists of zones and laminated them making it easier to cross off as I go. I'm now in my second week and I'm starting to feel better about my home. In fact starting to fall in love with it.:T

Now, my problem is how on earth will I do it all come September when Im back at work?!

On a work day I get up at 5.45 to get myself ready for work before lil man wakes 6.30 ish, I then leave the house around 7.45 to take him to nursery. The before bed routine will ensure the morning will flow with relative ease, but I just don't know how I'll get everything done once I'm working?!!

I know I shouldn't panic before I'm there, but I started flying again now so I can feel on top of it before I go back, but I realise how long it's taking me to do each zone, the only way I'll do it in September is weekends surely?

How do you working mums fly?

Am I trying to do too much. I have started exercising 3 times a week, for me, and I need to continue to do this to keep mummy healthy and happy. I do this after I've cooked tea and sorted the children etc and I also spend a lot of time working out shopping lists in a bid to continue to cut grocery bills etc.

TIA of your time reading this.

ooh, if it's anything like what Him Indoors had, which I will not describe as it's lunchtime and I know people have low thresholds for that sort of thing at the best of times_pale_, it's a bit of a shock for the patient. (And Him Indoors is fine. But they did do follow up tests to make sure all was OK due to his age and to confirm the problem was what they thought it was.)

Get well soon wishes to the Wolfy household.:hello:
