LW ahah! No wonder he was scared/worried - can be rather dramatic, that symptom...he's in for some fun now
BUT on an MSE note the cream you get for the old Rockford Files as, apparently, VERY good for temporarily smoothing out and minimising eye bags (or other 'puffy areas'. Unfortunately the odour does give you away (for those of us in the know;);))Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Well my half hour sorting turned into 2 HOURS
And now DD's room, the boys' room and the landing are absolutely full of "stuff" to sort/bag up/try on/rehome/clean/sell/put away/store - not to mention the full black bag in my room, 4 in the living room, 2 in the kitchen - oh and the pile of hats on the stairs!:eek::eek: Now I know why I'd been putting this job off :rotfl:0 -

Well done to your son, great news.
Sat in the garden and caught up with my friend for a couple of hours. Just going to bake a cake and cook some reduced sausages for picnic tomorrow.
Boys are playing table tennis in the LR so it is not tidy anymore but at least they are enjoying themselves.
I think it will be bronze for me today - flying turning into a bit of a decathlon isn't it?The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Barking- I am also using the summer to catch up on the cleaning as I go back to uni in September. I have nearly finished decluttering the house and already it is much easier working through the lists. Can't remember who posted it but I now live by the flylady mantra ' Don't put it down, put it away'.
Thank you for your supportive message, an excellent mantra to have!:T. I'm certainly feeling better two weeks in, by the end of the month I WILL be on top! :rotfl:DS 17 yearsDD 16 years DS 5 years
Busy working mum spinning plates!

Hi there and hugs to Bossymoo. Bossy, no-one knows what it is like for you, and to receive a letter like that, even though you were expecting it, must have brought back all the torment you went through. But there are lots of lovely flyladys here, that 'know' you well, (I know I am just a newcomer) and can all feel the hurt and pain with you. This is the time to think of yourself, take baby bossy-steps at a time, and lots of love to you and the little moos from me.
Lamewolf, big hugs to you and your DH, and here's a wish for a speedy recovery for Mr Lamewolf. You look after yourself, too, and just do what is necessary, flying can wait.
And Dusty, hugs to you. I loved FFP's comment 'you can slap as long as you shout mosquito'!! I'll remember that!! Hugs and get well vibes to anyone else that needs them - I'm sorry, can't seem to scroll to read back.
Olympic challenges have been on a back burner here (had you noticed we've not won any more today?) as we had to be at the vets for the cat's jabs for 9.15, I then went to shop and clean for sick friend, then met OH in town for lunch and last shop for our hol/wedding and a bit of fresh food to keep us going. Came back shattered as still got this throat virus, so all I've done is 2 x WM and S&S of kitchen and bathroom.
Just a salad for us tonight and now going to get my second mug of tea.
Hi to any more newcomers and warm vibes coming everyones way. R x0 -
