No podium for me today, which is a good result in itself, although I did get some laundry done, taking advantage of the good weather. Text my mum, as she works near me, to pop round after work, had a hug, cry and chat. She offered to come and stay for a few weeks  not sure about that lol.

Tots both grisly after 3 days at nursery, very tired and grumpy not to mention filthy. Mum bathed them whilst I got pjs ready so they are all done, just watching ice age in my bed.

Quiet day tomorrow, just playing in garden then a big communal nap in the afternoon...

Thank you for all the messages of support, you've no idea how much it means x

I have certainly done more than I thought. I did get up early as I had to get to the Drs before 8.30 as they wanted to grab some more of my blood. I'll have none left at this rate.
I stripped the bed and put the WM on before I went, and SS bathroom and kitchen. Came home and put it into the TD as the weather was quite damp this morning. It was Murphy's law that it hot and sunny this afternoon. Whilst it was drying, I went to the gym. Came home, had lunch then back out to my watercolour class.

Since I've been back, I did the rest of the list.

Now for some dinner which DH is cooking then I think I'd better slow up.

Bossy - sorry you are having a difficult day, love to you and the little ones.

    x

    Bossymoo
    - huge hugs hun xxx Take it a day at a time. If you can't do that then take it an hour at a time... then a minute at a time... then a second at a time.... but remember you will, eventually, get to feel a little bit better. xxxx

roundtuit - hope you feel better soon

Busy day doing my non-job (but being paid for both!) :D

Then I was out this evening doing my other job (spent most of the time in a traffic jam!) :(

Minimal flying has been achieved though I did de-clutter the post and unload/reload the DW. Got amused when a colleague emailed me the details of a job at a very high level within the local police force and asked if I was interested...I replied I would have been if it wasn't in THAT location and likely to be working with THAT particular person! :rotfl:

But, dinner needs to be cooked - bangers and mash tonight.....

    Evening all

Firstly, (((hugs))) to bossy and GWS wishes to LW, Mr LW, roundtuit and everyone else suffering at the moment.

Been a good day today, although I was late starting. My single wardrobe is tiday and also two drawers in the big CoD. Then I did my hanging rail in the fitted wardrobe, had a chat with NN and went out for a coffee while DS2 played with his friend next door. :D

Got back and started spaghetti sauce (one for tea and one for the freezer to use when we're back from hols - thanks, valli). Then I cleared DH's wardrobe shelves and made him go through stuff when he came in from work. Finally did my shelf, so there's only DH's hanging rail left. :T Lots of bags for the cash4clothes collection. I'll also need to do DS2's stuff tomorrow.

I also managed to do quite a bit of laundry and it won't take long to tidy the kitchen before bed. Taking the lappy upstairs now to have a bit of music while I tackle what's left of the floordrobe. :D

  • Good evening :D

Hugs and get-well wishes to poorly flyladies (& gents)

Not much flying here again :o But I have been munching frogs :p

I went to the dentist yesterday & had the filling re-done (had to tell a little lie about being in pain, but it was prevention of any problems occuring while we are in the US ). I have also renewed the house insurance (same company, but I am paying less than last year, after telling them I had a better quote :j :money:) We have also picked up our currency, and the packing is nearly all done :) I am working all day tomorrow, but I will draft everyone else in to help. I finish at 5.30, then its pack the car up & off we go!

I am toying with the idea of taking the laptop, in case i get a chance to do some work :o I think I will have room in my carry-on bag.

Went to a nearby RHS garden today with 2 kiddies :) Had a lovely day. They loved exploring, bug hunting (with proper nets) and made badges & a very gluey collage each using natural materials. It was cheap as well, as I borrowed my mum's RHS card & kids go free in August :j It seems that DH & DS have spent the day playing on the wii in my absence :( I may have to drop very unsubtle hints about grass cutting tomorrow (as it won't be cut while we are away)

Ok. I am off to bed now - lots to do tomorrow!
Hugs, sticks and spoons to those that need them x
