    Afternoon all

How the mighty fall, certainly not leading by example today - zero flyings so don't feel bad anyone!

Lost my mojo since being called horrid names this afternoon such as heartless and an embarassment - thanks for that.

Have been to Mr T for petrol and to buy toilet rolls and my favourite wine which are both on offer.

DS2&3 away to the Hockey for the Men's GB game with DH, they have safely arrived (I dropped them to get the train on their own to meet DH at the other end but they are 16 and 10).

Going to take my frustrations out with the hoover now to save myself fromt he packet of biscuits I have just openned.

What?? That's awful.:( We love and appreciate you, Dusty.:o

I got the hand-held vacuum out to the dog-hairs on the lounge carpet; had to put Jessie in the kitchen, as she doesn't like vacuum cleaners, but I cheered her up with a game outside with her tug-toy afterwards.

Other than that, I've done the best I can with today's rooms, and also made a chocolate mousse for tonight (and tomorrow's) pud.;)

Make a list of everything I need to remember before we go away at the weekend.
Contact sky and/or BT re changing broadband and phone supplier
    research B&C insurance
    Health insurance claim
Car insurance - claim back cancellation fee
    sell old phone

    Plan for today:
[STRIKE]shower and breakfast (in the dining room :D)[/STRIKE]
get DS1 up so he can sort his laundry failed
    [STRIKE]WM[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]fill car with everything that needs to leave the house :T[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]fly while waiting for machine to finish and hang washing out[/STRIKE]

Did all errands in town, made two appointments (bank and hairdresser's), posted parcel for my friend in Germany and had a couple of coffees in our favourite cyber cafe. :D The owner cheered me up enormously when he told me that DS1 had spoken to him about the problems we've had - he'd tried to explain my point of view to DS1, hopefully with more luck than me.

Nothing from the lists, though, and very little in the house. I suppose there's time yet...

Tuesday - Living Room, study, computer desk
    Bronze

Hoover the floors - Swept and mopped our laminate lounge floor today
    Wipe the mantle/dusty hearth
    Silver
HH tidying and wiping desk coffee table/urgent paperwork - sort out and shred any unwanted paperwork kept behind the TV.
Wipe the light shades and bulbs - carefully
    Gold
    Hoover/wipe the sofas
    15 minutes decluttering/putting things away
Wipe doors and handles, remember the top edge
    HHI

Not managed to wipe the light shades, door handles or vacuum the sofa but have managed to clear the coffee table. I have also got a text book, 2gb RAM and a DVD that I have put on ebay as I no longer need them. I have hoovered the stairs too. Not managed the paperwork behind the TV yet as the shredder has overheated from shredding paperwork on the coffee table so have had to unplug it for a few mins. Now sat back watching a bluray whilst I wait for OH to come home from work. I also have a gammon joint in the slow cooker cooking in cola. Once it is done it will be divided up and frozen in portions for my lunches.

Couldn't have said it better Lamewolf

Just a quick update before I start cooking dinner:

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room ~ All Done

Tuesday - Living room, Hall and Stairs ~ All Done

    My extras:

    Weed back garden
    Cut grass
    Clean upstairs windows
    [STRIKE]Complete uni paperwork[/STRIKE]
Wipe any sticky marks of all the radiators
Another trip to the rubbish tip

Also today did food shop and put it away, WM x 2, went to PO to send recorded delivery letters. As I gave the sofas a clean last week they just needed a quick wipe today, so cleaned sticky marks of walls/doors in lounge/hallway/staircase.

Enjoy the rest of the evening x
