Been in th office an hour, and done the urgents. Just waiting on a few bits and pieces to finish up then I can move onto something more interesting.
Will be home about 3.30 which gives me 3xhhc before collecting the tots. Or 1xhhc and an hour on "the cabinet".
Tot 1 had a lovely time on the nursery outing to a farm yesterday, but was very cross this morning to hear they are not going again, and he's to stay at nursery. My MIL helped out on the trip, and apparently he told all his friends to call her granny, and even the ladies referred to her the same, lol. So she was granny to sixteen 3 and 4 year olds yesterday, and four twenty-somethings lol. She had a whale of a time.
I do have a little paperwork to catch up on tonight, plus I'm keeping an eye out for the post this week as DH medical records are due. I think she said her deadline was either 4 or 8 August. So expect them to drop on my mat this week :-( Still, it's best to understand what happened, and keep it safe, in case either of the children get poorly :-( mummy's greatest fear -that and getting too poorly herself to be able to look after said children.
Oh, belt up, bossy!Bossymoo

When I went to the grammar school at age 11 (over half a centruy ago!) we had to have tailored shorts for games. On the first day, the PE mistress made us all kneel on the floor of the school hall - I still remember how hard the parquet blocks were - and keep our backs up very straight while she went round and measured. Anyone with "shorts" more than 3 fingers' width from the ground (she was a Girl Guide leader) was told to take them back to the shop and get a larger size. Mine were OK, but they still fitted me 7 years later when I finished school. Very MSE, but how I hated them! And the green knickers for gym were even worse...
Ha this bought back memories. We had to wear a red PE skirt with navy blue knickers underneath - M&S really thick fabric. My skirt also fitted for the full 5 years I was there, just getting shorter and shorter, I loved that skirt though, it had one of those slide waist clips, flat at the front and pleated all around :rotfl:
DH and DS1 both away to work early so been awake a while. Just going to do my exercises - been really rubbish with them and my knee is worse right now - and then shower and feed the neighbours mog.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Morning all, not much planned for today except getting the boys tracksuits. My sister is coming with me so shouldn't be too bad.
Hopefully on thursday it will be the boys school uniform..
Need to go waken the brew and get them fed and by then hopefully my sister will be up.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

I've ironed for 2 hours and cleared the back log, just need to get it put away now, but I have a big washing pile that needs to be done - never ending jobs that I hate doing!

Good Morning busy flyladies.
Yay! The mouse is now an ex mouse following a day of trauma. It kept scampering across the floor a random times. I fell backwards down the stairs (only about 4 up) as I came face to face with it. I think the sonic thingies made it rather hyperactive. OH finally captured it just as I was seriously thinking I would have to go and wander around the 24 hr Tesco all night!!! Just hoping that there was only one of them now!
Must be extra nice to OH today!!
Normal behaviour will resume . . .
Kitchen floor swept and work surfaces cleaned.
Bread maker on.
Bathroom cleaned.
Later:
Make cake.
Chase an overdue payment.
Sort some stuff to put on ebay. Am I the only person who seems to accumulate more stuff than I get rid of? I seem to be managing to declutter Amazon's stock at a rather alarming rate!0 -
morning all
achieved a bronze yesterday but aiming for higher today
well done to all of yesterdays medalists:T
DH took rickety shell of bookcase outside last night strenghtened joins and sdrewed back on so its really sturdy now so up early and all my books are now off our bedroom floor and in the spare room on the mended bookcase.
Lost racing pigeon is in the catcarrier awaiting a phonecall to return it to its owners - ive fed and watered him/her this morning. we had to wait till it was dark then pile the training mats up with a chair on top and DH grabbed it from its perch (back of one of the shelves under the drive) didnt actually mind it being there but objected to the amount of poop it was leaving under the drive all over DH training mats:mad:. hope they ring quick it looks pretty miserable now its caged
DS1 decluttered out with his mates for morning, DD2 declutterd off to work but spent 1/2 hour trying to find her a route on google maps when supposed bus didnt arrive so she had to walk from train station to todays shop and its raining where she is.
