Gold here yaay!
And I'm half way through building my cabinet. Done the casing, tomorrow will pop the back panels and doors on, and Wednesday I'll do the drawers.
Looks nice. Bit big though. Will need to bob something on the corner as someone is bound to fling the door open and crash into it. Ooh, I'll be able to keep loads of junk in it, though... LolBossymoo

Make a list of everything I need to remember before we go away next weekend.
I've flown in the DR all day. It's not finished, but the table is clear, most of the floor is clear and clean and it feels so much better. 3 big hotspots left, as well as the window, fire place and chandelier to clean. It truly was a RoD, but it's lots better already.
DS2 and I had tea in there today for the first time in ages and it was lovely.
The downside is that lots of stuff is waiting to leave the house and some needs re-homing in different rooms, so the whole place looks worse at the moment. DS2 and I are off into town tomorrow, so we'll call at the CS and skip on the way.
Cash4clothes are coming on Friday, so wardrobes will need to be sorted by then.
All in all I'm pleased with the progress and want to get as much finished as possible before we're off on Saturday morning.
I'll go and deal with the sink and the bin in a minute, but I was never a medal hopeful today, really - just in it to improve my personal best.0 -
List ready for tomorrow. Off to bed now as I'll get to finish my book

Didn't manage any to do any of the things on the gold list as OH's sister was coming over and needed to sweep and mop the lounge floor. I may try and get them done tomorrow instead. I have already made a big improvement on the house though

Thank you Bonnie as always for the kind words.
Welcome to our newbies we are a very friendly bunch, almost makes flying fun:)
I've not done too badly today- even if I say so myself. Had a head start with doing the kitchen floor Sunday but spent ages sorting my spices out. Been working my way through the takeaway secrets book which is fab but where to store all the diddy bottles.
Looking forward to tomorrows list too, should manage to get through that. Spending some more time with our VDGD1 who is off to Australia on the 21st tomorrow, see if I can manage a tear free day!
Hugs to anybody who'd like or needs one and thank you for just being there. The secret of Christmas
