Thanks for the kind words Petrichor I do like to join in but felt a bit of a hypocrite making suggestions when I'm not doing too well. But hey like a lot fat girls I'm very good on the theory not so much on the practice.

Anyhoo day one on Monday.I think I'll go back to good old fashioned calorie counting and portion control. With a smidgeon of Paul McKenna for luck.

Suggs I'm not really sure what an Oxford shirt is but if it's a formal type is there any possibility you could hire one from a wedding hire shop? Even if you have to buy one, make sure you keep the receipt and put a claim in at work.

Thanks for that malima rotflay8.gifrotflay8.gifI'll have the giggles for the rest of the weekend now. At least you know why you gained, and next weeks WI will be a loss.

Suggs - it sounds like you have a similar job to me - seeing clients, staying away from home, trade shows etc. It's really difficult sobemtimes just trying to keep on the right diet track let alone succeeding!
I too have to wear horrible company logo'd shirts at this type of thing and its not nice having to wear something that doesn't suit or fit you. Hold your head up and rest assured that you are the best looking, most approachable, most friendly and genuine person working in the team at the show. I'm sure that you will be the most successful chap there!!!

This week I have not been brilliant - work commitments (Blo*dy customers!!), a trip to Wales for a family funeral (including the dreaded buffet at the wake) and a really boring really long drive back home. Weighed this morning and appear to have eiter lost half a pound or stayed the same - the scales are wavering!

On top of all of this I'm having a "female" week - so plenty of sugar and grumpiness!

Have started again today - been for an hour long walk with the dog and feel better now..
    Onwards and upwards!!!
  • morning :hello:

Suggs i don't want to repeat everything thats been said already but it's not your fault, its the companies, you've done amazingly well and help to keep us all on track too :T is the logo embroidered on? you could get mrs suggs to cut round it & stitch it onto a white shirt that fits, it might take a while but if it makes you feel better  regardless of what you wear on the day just remember that you are the most 'presentable, hunky & sexy' bloke there, we all think so anyway :D

am feeling much more myself now everything back to normal, had 1281cals on Thurs & 1653cals yesterday.

    have a good day everyone

I have bought some shorts:eek:  good job you don't live near me:rotfl: anyway they are for tomorrow as it is going to be hot, hot hot:D

Feeling great about all the weight loss and outside Sainsburys they have a free one minute body fat test so I took it... I am 37% fat:eek: I think my chin hit the floor;) the lady then proceeded to tell me ( I told her I had lost 3 stone) that I needed to loose more, much more:p that my fat was way too high and would I like to part with £20 for the tablets she was selling that would help me loose the fat?..... I walked off huffed and she knew she did not have a sale, kids trailing behind, big hump on back:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Pah Victory
Test is most likely doctored to show people have more body fat so they buy the damm tablets so dont worry!

Had a chinese last night while out with friends & family. It was fab!
Will most likely pay on Tuesday though!!

    Suggs
    Sorry about the shirt.
Good idea about taking logo from shirt they gave you & putting it onto one of your own.
Or how about wearing a tshirt underneath then you wont have to button the damm thing!
I always like to be a wee bit different but thats just me!
Have a great weekend & dont let the b******* get you down.

    Hi all

Edimew - please don't feel you can only post here if you've lost weight. It's people that are struggling that need the most support, and that's how we can help you. If you post on the thread (even just to join in the discussion) I'll keep including you in the chart, but as you can probably imagine, there are lots of people who have joined and then disappeared - the chart would be too long if I left them all in, so if I haven't seen someone for a while I take them out.

Victory - I'm pleased you didn't get taken in and pay £20 for the tablets - you are doing the right thing to tone up, which will inevitably reduce your body fat levels. The salesperson really needs some lessons in tact and diplomacy - I bet she was a skinny bint who's never known how difficult it is to lose weight

Honey - I hope the wedding went well today, and that you had some respite from the IBS. Isn't it sods law that you'd have a flare up the week of the wedding.

Suggs - have you come to a decision about the shirt? I hope it helps to know that you have the sympathy and support of your fan club here :D

Enjoy the sun tomorrow all :D - don't forget the shades!

Suggs hope you had a good day.

I was better today. Took DS to watch his team play cos it was final game of season for one team he plays in. He was itching to get on so his manager put him on for last minute so he could say he'd played. (he's not allowed cos he's got a broken hand!) They won which meant that they won the league:D :D This meant we all had to go for drink but I stuck to lime and soda:o Then the manager brought in 25 chip butties with scraps and salt and vinegar:eek: They smelt b****y gorgeous but I resisted:D KIds sat in front of me waving them at me saying how nice they were:mad: Of course they're grounded tomorrow:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Might try car boot sale tomorrow that consultant mentioned. Want to look for a small trampoline for me...:o

Have a lovely day in the sun everyone,

    Jo

Morning - watching the London Marathon feeling very lazy and chubby!
Have the Race for Life in 11 weeks  so better get on with it and start doing some training or will wobble around the course!
May help with a bit of weight loss though - silver linings and all that.

    Anyone else doing it?
