Heavens NO! I'd never put myself under that much pressure but if I lose 2 lbs this week I'll have lost 4 in all hence the 'doubling'
Ahh I see, well good luck with that.
I don't think I'll bother with the thread targets for a while. I've got my personal targets of 7lb (can't be long now) and 10% loss, but I'll get there when I get there.
I also have to confess that I too hate butterflies. Anything that flies, really. In particular pigeons and moths. (ick ick ick)0 -
Oh I forgot to say.
I saw a great tip today which I thought was particularly appropriate for this site.
Whenever you turn down free food put 50p away, and then when you saved enough give yourself a little treat.
I thought it ideal if like me, you work in the kind of office where people are always bringing in treats, especially in the run up to Easter.0 -
Was the March challange to loose 5 lbs Lois?

HI all,
Just read all posts from today and see that LL has done us a chart! Thank you LL - I will weigh myself tomorrow morning and put scary  details on after, then hopefully I can see myself reducing each week. I would like to have lost at least a stone before we go to Center Parcs on 7th May, do you think I can do it? :rolleyes:Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -

Bit confused about the March and April challenge, has the March one now finished and we are on to the Spril one? When does it start and end then?
Confused ... you will be! (Sorry, that shows my age - if you know where that came from you'll know what I mean!)
The March challenge doesn't finish until NEXT weekI'm getting ahead of myself!

End of my first week of Slimming World and I've lost 6.8lbs!!!!! :
Wow that's great - well done!
Can you put me down for the April challenge please Lois. I won't be back from my hols for the start of it but it might get me back on track when I do, especially if I commit myself down.
Please feel free to remind me I was determined to lose 5lbs in April/May when I start whingeing in a few weeks time.
Went to the gym again this morning but could have done with going again this afternoon (if I'd had time!) to destress myself - took DD to airport, having asked her if she had her passport to which she said 'yes of course, do you think I'm totally incapable?', and when we got there she had the passport holder but had left the passport in the scanner  I then had to race back (hopefully not caught by any speed cameras) and got back there with minutes to spare  Spent 2 hours driving, ended up with horrible headache and burst into tears when I got home BUT I didn't resort to food which was a really big achievement, especially as there is a big bar of choc in the kitchen.
Anyway, time for bed now. Night allProud to be dealing with my debts0 -
