Hi Everyone
What a fabulous afternoon:j
First of allsylvia You'll soon find that your weight will drop off and be looking forward to a Christmas wedding
Hope your little baby is doing fine.
Well done :T NekoZombie on losing 3lbs :T .....
.... and :T dawnydee and Lois for maintaining, not gaining.
*debbie* For the BBQ, what about something 'cleansing' such as frozen forest fruits (thawed) and stirred ever so lightly (so that you get a marbled effect) into some 0% fat Greek yogurt. Looks and tastes great and even 'diet haters' will love it.
Honey There is one veeerrrry nervous badger here......The chosen method is to let him listen to Eriqueen sing that dratted song....on your head be it.
xxxx
Have a nice afternoon allI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Wow, I've just found the link to the chart, aren't you all doing so well!:T (note to self - I must fully read the first post of threads I'm interested it!)
Thanks for the pud ideas, I especially like the mixed fruit in yoghurt, it sounds great. The recipe link is fantastic, I found the recipe for chickpea cake..made it when I did SW before and had forgotten all about it. It sounds revolting but it is yummy!
As for the chinese, I think I'll do the "eat what I like" bit! I have been very good this week and usually loose loads on week 1, so hopefully I'll have a bit of 'wiggle room' - must stay off the scales though otherwise I might think I've got loads of 'wiggle room'!
I'd like to join the 5lb club, as it doesn't start til after the end of my 1st week I won't feel like I'm cheating!

firstly, I'd like to join the may challenge - though not quite sure what it is! Secondly, 3llb weight loss this week. Whooooop whooop! Very pleased - I'm sure not eating nuts is helping. Did anyone see in the paper yesterday that eating eggs aids weight loss? A couple of eggs a day (maybe for brekkie) is meant to be fantastic.
Can my weight loss be added to the chart?
I read about this too and it seems that it's because eggs leave us filling fuller for longer due to the protein content (no surprise there then!), but for those that want to read it -http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/health/dietfitness.html?in_article_id=452282&in_page_id=1798 I think that a relevant point is that the survey was done by the American Egg Board
However for those people that like eggs, then it gives the go ahead to eat as many as you want i.e. they don't set a weekly limit as has been the vogue during the last few years. I've never limited my egg intake but then I don't have any problem with high cholesterol.
Neko I've added you to the list for the May challenge, hope that's OK, don't want you slacking just because you're not on the list

Ok then I will stick around, but only due to the threat of singing and the badger getting it
I think it was Suggs offering to "show me his" that swayed me - although not sure exactly what he is going to show me  :rotfl: I was never planning on going for good, just for a while until I get back into healthy eating mode. I felt I was letting you all down. I spoke to my SW consultant at the school gates today and she asked why I hadnt been in a few weeks. I told her the truth, that I had lost interest and wasn't motivated. She told me to take a few weeks and not to come back until I was ready to start over again as I would only resent it all. I'm going to try and get my sorted and start afesh from next week.
Well done on all the losses this week - Keep up the good work, You're a great bunch :iloveyou:
PS - Lois, can you put me in the "on hold" section next time you update the chart. I have gained a few pounds so will give you my loss to date when I next get weighed - Ta!0 -
YAY!!!!!Honey's back
