Honey please don't go, can't you just go on hold on the chart & stay & chat to us
please .....0 -
m_sLondon I'm sorry I missed your post before but good luck on Saturday. Have you tried just doing your measurements instead of looking at your weight?? I have a friend with thyroid problems who can't seem to loose the weight but since joining the gym she has really changed her body shape.
Welcome Cath you will get lots of good adviced on here and if you look on page one there is a link for some fantastic recipes.
Suggs have a good weekend. Thought you were in my gym this morning, it was full of hunky rugby players... until I realised it was the Cas Tigers players!!! Belated Happy Birthday
Well done all who have lost or maintained. Tough luck to those who gained, I'm sure next week will be better.
I get weighed tomorrow so will post then.

Hope I haven't posted to late for the chart, I've maintained again this week. I'm sure I must of been lighter yesterday cause my trousers were nearly falling down, wish I had weighed myself last night now.
Well done to everyone else who has lost or maintained, gonna catch up with the threads later0 -
Have ha a look at the "Lightrt Life" website which had a link from another site.....
Looks ok but there is no mention on the cost of it..........
Have tried other "eating plans" but tend to have more bad days than good.
Thought with this - no planning just a drink......
May get slated for writing this but if you dont ask you dont know do you.
So quick recap
Anyone tried it?
How much does it cost?
Any thing else to try?
I wouldn't recommend Lighter Life, I have not done it myself but a friend a work is doing it. It is about £66 as Lois said, but my friend does not enjoy the food, that is all she thinks about, she is always tired and she is not happy at all on it. She has lost about 5 stone but at what expense. She still has a long way to go and when she stopped the Lighter Life before and started eating normally the weight went back on.0 -
Evening all
I'm just working on the chart at the moment, but I won't post it until later on, just in case there are any more weigh ins to report.
Honey - I agree with loopy-loo - why not stay and continue chatting with us? You're really good at lifting people and motivating others might be what you need to get motivated yourself.
Zippy - yes, you're in the chart, well done for your excellent weight loss.
Welcome CathChat, DitheringDad, *Debbie*, Flowerfairy, Nekozombie , Oldgot and anyone else I've missed
Well done to everyone who's posted so far - there are some excellent weight losses. Commiserations if you haven't lost this week - that includes me, which I'm not very pleased about as I've been :A all week, thinking I could get a hat trick and lose weight three weeks in a row, for the first time in ages. Reminder to self: it's better to maintain than to gain...
Back later.

Honey - I know exactly how you feel having just had a giant helping of apple pie and custard! You don't have so much to lose either do you? The last bit is rubbish - I feel like I've lost weight (have lost over a ston ein total since I began ages ago) so am sitting back on my laurels but still want to lose a little bit more but really can't be bothered soemtimes.
I start every day with good intentions but come the evening time I've often caved in to some wine/chocs/dessert.
The only saving grace at the moment is the increased exercise - but I'd have to run for 5 hours a day sometimes to burn off what's gone in!
Please don't go - I need soemone that understands!! (very selfish I know but I'm hoping it will persuade you to stay!)
Anyway, sweetie, look after yourself, try and feel a bit better soon and take care xxxxxx
Off for another glass of wine to toast you!0 -
Hi again, back with this week's chart
With another week to go until the end of the April challenge, we already have 3 people who have achieved (and over achieved) their target, so well done to Victory, Petrichor and Lotty. :T
I'm awarding Slimmer of the Week to Bindiboo, as she has lost 11 pounds over 2 weeks - well done Bindiboo! :j
Good luck to everyone who is taking part in the April challenge - a few of us are quite close to achieving our goal, so I'm expecting to see a few successes next week.
Is everyone up for the May challenge - 5lbs by the end of the month? If we're sticking to Wednesdays, the last one in May will be the 30th, which is 4 weeks from today, and therefore 3 weeks from next Wednesday.
If you're up for the challenge, how about starting a list, like last month - that was very helpful.

Juststarting
I think 1 1/2 lbs is a great weight loss so dont be despondant.
Hope you are feeling brighter now.
I know the medication/health issues can be v difficult.
