Remind me…. How many letters are in the alphabet?

I am guessing this is the "musical" sort and not the pc one. I think its always best to specify.

the foam back has turned to powder because it is so old and this is bagged ready to go as well...
OK there is trying to save stuff from landfill and then there is getting some mug to take your rubbish away because you cant go to the tip (or cant be bothered)

Now "some" things really DO need to go to landfill! Yukk

    OFFERED: old damaged carpet
This carpet has been soaked by a leak and is torn in places!
However I though I'd offer it in case anyone could use it for padding on
    boat trailers for example......

    It measures approx 1m x 2.6m
(Came from a loo so gaps where the loo and sink were)

you say that but look at what just turned up on our FC bulletin?!

    WANTED: any old carpet
We've just cleared a section of ground, and we're trying to stop brambles
regrowing. Our chosen method is to cover the ground with carpet, and roll it
back slowly to remove the roots. Trouble is, not enough carpet!

If anybody has any large pieces of carpet that are no longer needed, and too
tatty to be laid in a house, that would be ideal for us! No worries if there
are stains, dog hair, smells or anything like that.
Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!
Closet debt free wannabe -[STRIKE] Last personal loan payment - July 2010[/STRIKE]:T, credit card balance about £3000 (and dropping FAST), [STRIKE]Last car payment September 2010 (August 2010 aparently!!)[/STRIKE]
And a mortgage in a pear tree :D

I am trying to get a new carpet and it's proving far more expensive
than I thought - wondered if anyone knew a reasonible carpet fitter or
one that would offer some time. I would be very grateful. Kind regards
S****. Havent found a reasonible carpet yet so no rush!!!!

There's be a rush of requests for camping equipment on my freecycle this week. People who want to try it out for the first time who will appreciate anything in the camping genre (you know, sleeping bags, stoves, maybe a tent??)

My worst experience on Freecycle was when I offered two full boxes of stuff ideal for a car boot sale. They weren't cráp and should raise a fair amount - it's just I couldn't be bothered myself. I felt all full of the milk of human kindness when I gave it to the first of many people who emailed me. She sent two burly men to my house to collect them and they took a box each in silence and drove off! She never even sent me an email to thank me and I got all Barabara Woodhouse-ish and wondered who I could send a disgruntled letter of complaint to.

By the way, can I add 'LARGE SCALE SWIMMING POOL, MUST DELIVER' to my list?
Why do mice have such small balls?
Because so few of them can dance.
