no idea what a spindle tub is, but i wish you were near me cos i'd have the dvd cases like a shot, lol. typical eh. i've had problems off loading lower end items, even had people ak bizarre things like for some bedding can i photo it on a bed so they can get an idea if its suitable for what they want!! erm no actually, i hate changing the bed when it needs doing, and am not doing it on a whim for you. blue is blue, and either have it or dont!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but then there are people you know you genuinley help, had one of those this week, a young couple looking for some toys for there daughter to play with who is poorly, dropped a couple of things off, and they were so grateful, made my day. just the other idiots who do my head in. personally if i was a mod, i'd pretty much ban half at least of all wanteds, greedy people asking for things that aren't really "needed" maybe they should change it to needed instead of wanted, see if as many people post for silly stuff

A spindle tub is like the container that DVD's/CD's often come in if you're buying them in 25's or 50's I've got 6 of these, 1 DVD case and about 5 CD cases and can#t shift 'em - looks like I may well be binning them - so much for saving landfill

thanks for the explanation of a spindle tub,. know what you mean now. lol. as an aside our local school appreciate old empty cd cases, as a lotr of stuff they get sent or use are in wallet things and they last longer in cases, i always send mine in there, might be worth asking if you one near you or have kids at school.

Oh and btw I have been a member of abc group and posted there 1st about 2 and a half days ago :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: (with no takers - well it's not a laptop or digicam I'm offering)

So one can ask to have one's whole home AND that of a relative furnished, one can ask for a car, one can ask for a narrow boat - but try and offer something and it's rejected.

I cannot put into words how I feel about freecycle at the moment, well I could but not ones that i would want to type here (and they'd be censored by the site anyway)

One very, very, very unhappy soon likely to be ex freecycler :mad: :mad: :mad:

There is no group called abcfreecycle. Please make sure you typed the web address correctly. If you have done so, the group may no longer exist.

These are a few of the VERY typical posts that our freecycle group gets everyday. I'm starting to hate freecycle. There has been many complaints about the wanted posts in our group but nothing gets done about it. For every offered post there is probably 4 wanted posts.

WANTED - 1. Ikea klippan sofa or leather sofa in brown/beige/cream. 2. Dishwasher. 3. Sleigh bed, doubel or kingsize. Please as I'm moving house and have no furniture. Thanks.
