I can't work this one out. Does a Paralympics evening athletics ticket also work as a day pass so you can mill around / go on the Olympic walk etc or do I need a Day Pass as well?
Also, I assume an ExCel Day pass (which I know is a seperate venue to the Olympic Park) would be effectively sold as over-subscribed since it's a first come first served basis, and some people may leave etc, or do they know that if you have a ticket, then there will be a seat somewhere within the venue?0 -
The tickets work based on sessions so they should be a time on them that says what session you can enter in time for. The day passes allow you to enter the venue but don't guarantee you a seat to watch events- they allow you to watch if there is empty seating************************************

yes, in effect an athletics ticket works as a day pass for Olympic park. The literature states you can't enter the venue (ie in your case Olympic stadium) until 2 hours before your timed session begins, but you can go to Olympic park with your ticket as early as you like, and also stay later in the area if you wish.0 -
Thanks balletshoes - our tickets haven't arrived yet, and the FAQs weren't very clear. With the inevetible tickets becoming available and selling out just as instantly, I'm probably resigning myself to just chilling out in the park, and then seeing if any tickets are released on the day somehow

I reckon that people will just dip in and out of sessions so you are likely to see events ok....?
I also heard that there is a returned tickets booth in the Stratford venue, where you can queue to get tickets for event there too.
I'm just hoping the weather is kind to the Paras...
Really enjoying the Ch 4 warm up shows, last night they had the Equestrian and Swimming champs! 7.30pm if anyone else interested - followed appropriately for us lot by Superscripmers :rotfl:
Does anyone know how much liquid you can take into the park? Apologies as I know this has been around the forums a few times...but thought if anyone knows off the top of their headLess stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
