From Wembley to Stratford I'd say about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 mins. School holidays and a Friday will see much lighter passenger numbers than normal.Pants0

However, even then our assigned seats in the stadium are fairly high up in block 249 (ie not great seats).
Never actually occured to me to look at seats though tickets came ages ago. Going to women's footie final this week and seats are up in the gods
. Para swimming we are in row 29, behind the start, nearer the diving pool. Ok I suppose. Great for par athletics though - block 135, next to track, row 7
Was really looking forward to it anyway, even more so now I know all sold out, atmosphere will be fantastic, especially as UK athletes should be 'podiuming' :rotfl:. However, wish I'd bought some cycling as well, tried to tonight but all sold out.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

was looking at day passes to the olympic park yesterday, waited till this morning to book and they've all sold out
do you think there will be more tickets/passes released nearer the time?weaving through the chaos...0 -
I was also looking at day passes yesterday but it was part of football so I have decided to wait and try to get a ticket for an event I actually want to see, rather than leave an empty seat (no way i would sit through football, sorry!)
I'm sure they will release more tickets - let's face it, it's all about the money and they will want to milk us for all they can!!
My OH says I'm not allowed to mention Olympic tickets anymore LOL, he's sick of it all!!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
Quite a few Paras events are in different venues from their Olympic equivalents or are totally new events so I'm sure there will be tickets released as they work out where cameras and screens need to be0

Hi - has anyone a spare ticket for the paralympics athletics on Sat 1st Sep (session PAT 04)? - I have tickets for my son and myself to go, but now my daughter has got into the olympics and would like to come with us ....0

Thanks for that.
Is it still school holidays on Friday 7th Sept?
And i didnt realise that Fridays would result in lighter passenger numbers than normal, I actually thought it would much be busier?
I have pressed all of your 'thanks buttonsDont you just love freshly congealed pigs blood, with a bit of fat in0 -
The Excel day seats are still available. £10 to pop in and out of half a dozen different sports. Excellent value even if Excel itself isn't as attractive a venue as the Park (though the arena which currently has the fencing has a dockside bar with a fab view!)0

Ive just read on another forum that if you are travelling with kids (we are, grandson aged 5) then a trip on the Javelin is not to be missed.
Is it that good....or that fast?
I realise that it runs from St Pancras...so does that mean that my trip could? should? be as follows..
Wembley to St Pancras
St Pancras to Stratford
Or just wembley to stratford (if its possible?)Dont you just love freshly congealed pigs blood, with a bit of fat in0 -

The Javelin takes 6 minutes to get from St Pancras to Stratford. if you want to go all the way by tube, you can (change at Baker Street) but you could always take the javelin there and come back by tube (less changes if the kids are tired)0
